- Yes, Valor Mortis is available on Xbox Game Pass.
- Xbox Game Pass subscribers can play Valor Mortis at the game's launch.
- Players can purchase the Standard or Deluxe Edition of Valor Mortis on all supported platforms.
Looking forward to Valor Mortis, the new first-person soulslike game? The game doesn’t have pre-orders available, and players will have to wait for the game’s release to purchase it. However, Xbox Game Pass subscribers are wondering if they can get the game on day one. So, is Valor Mortis on Xbox Game Pass? The answer is given below.
Will Valor Mortis Be Available on Xbox Game Pass at Launch?
Yes, Valor Mortis will be available on Xbox Game Pass at launch. Seeing how Xbox Game Pass’s game list is absolutely stacked with outstanding games, it’s a great move to also add Valor Mortis at day one.
Players can also buy Valor Mortis on the Xbox Store for $39.99. The game will have two available editions: Standard and Deluxe. Players who buy the Deluxe Edition will get a free major story DLC later down the line, while Standard players will only get the base game.
As Valor Mortis doesn’t have any pre-orders, the game won’t have any pre-order bonuses as well. The developers want players to purchase the game on day one, based on what they see about the gameplay.
Other than the Xbox Game Pass, Valor Mortis is also on PS Plus at launch. The developers clearly plan to reach as much of an audience as possible, even if the game doesn’t see very high individual sales.
This is a big reason subscriptions like Xbox Game Pass and PS Plus are still used by many. Sadly, we have been hearing rumors about Xbox Game Pass planning to remove day-one releases, which would mean such opportunities would stop happening. If that happens, many would have to wait to buy such games, instead of just being subscribed to such game libraries.
