Fortnite V34.00 Downtime Schedule
The Fortnite Status X account has officially confirmed that downtime for Chapter 6 Season 2 began at 2 AM ET/ 11 PM PT on February 20 and that matchmaking ended shortly beforehand. So, if you have witnessed the ‘Fortnite Servers not responding’ text in the game, it’s normal.

However, you can check when the servers are back online. The best way to know about the Fortnite server status is by checking the official Epic Games status website. On this site, you will notice any ongoing issues related to the game and other Epic services. As of now, the scheduled maintenance for Fortnite Chapter 6 v33.20 is ongoing. So, if your Fortnite server is not responding, then don’t worry, as you’re not the only one.

On the website, a message with the header ‘Downtime for v34.00 Update’ says, “Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.” The “under maintenance” text will go away when the downtime ends.
According to previous updates and Epic Games schedules, this maintenance could take 4 to 5 hours. This is also when the Fortnite servers will come back on.
