Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg unveiled the all new Facebook home app and HTC First, the brand new Facebook dedicated smart phone by HTC integrated with Facebook services. HTC has always been keen to manufacture Facebook dedicated phones like the HTC Chacha and Salsa. Facebook has unveiled its brand new app Facebook home that will update all your feeds from Facebook with a minimalistic UI to focus more on Facebook services rather than apps and launcher settings.
HTC has been known for making some amazing custom user interface on top of any stock UI and Facebook Home is no exception. Facebook Home is an app launcher and has cover feed, the similar concept used in Blink feed of HTC One. All notifications and status updates can be accessed right from the home screen without any need to open app. The home screen allows you to like or comment and long press can show you the whole Pic. The app launcher allows you to add your favourite apps and all notifications and chats can be done just by tapping notifications on the home screen.
HTC first has average specifications and all necessary connectivity features along with NFC. The processor is accompanied by Adreno 305 GPU and comes right out of the box with Android Jelly Bean 4.1.
