Best Perks to Lockpick in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Now that you have learned how to Lockpick in KCD 2, you will need to know how to improve. Lockpicking is one of the skills that requires a ton of practice to get better at it. The more your Thievery skill increases, the easier it will be to Lockpick.

Here are the best Thievery perks you need to get for Lockpicking:

  • Silent Fiddler (minimum level 6): Becomes almost silent when lockpicking and decreases the sound of breaking lockpicks by 75%.
  • Tool Master (minimum level 8): Lockpicks are more durable and last 15% longer before breaking. If you still break a lockpick, successfully overcoming the lock will return the lockpick to your inventory.

As the Thievery skill increases from lockpicking and pickpocketing, you can practice either to benefit both. The best place to practice lockpicking is in Lower Semine Mill, as part of the Materia Prima questline.

There, you will find a chest with ‘Very Easy’ lockpick difficulty to practice your lockpicking skills. Keep picking this chest until you at least reach level 10 in Thievery. After that, pick ‘Medium’ difficulty chests and doors to level up further.

Continue this process until you have reached level 18 in Thievery. After reaching level 18, you can attempt to open ‘Very Hard’ difficulty lockpicks comfortably.
