This comes after the game’s rocky history with mobile platforms, both iOS and Android, left many players stuck in Chapter 2 Season 3. Now, to celebrate this new milestone, Epic Games has announced the new Yeddy skin, which will be available for Fortnite mobile players for free.

How to Unlock Yeddy Skin in Fortnite for Free

Players can unlock the Yeddy skin in Fortnite for free by completing specific in-game quests while playing on mobile. The skin is part of the celebration for Fortnite returning to the Google Play Store in Chapter 7 Season 2. Players with a keen eye will notice that the Yeddy skin’s design clearly takes some inspiration from the Android Bot.

The quests you need to complete to earn the Yeddy skin will go live during Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2, since that is when the game will go live on the Google Play Store. While the quests are not known yet, they are expected to feature prominent gameplay changes in Chapter 7 Season 2, maybe even taking down some of The Seven NPCs if you choose to side with the Ice King.

It is currently unknown whether the Yeddy skin will be made available in the Fortnite Item Shop down the line for players who fail to acquire it through the quests.
