Can You Catch Greninja in Legends ZA?
You cannot catch a wild Greninja in Pokemon Legends ZA. However, you can catch and evolve a Froakie. Froakie can be obtained by completing the Side Mission, “A Challenge from Froakie.” After that, you can catch it at the Wild Zone 16, during Nighttime and Daytime. After catching a Froakie, you can farm XP and evolve it into Greninja at level 36.
How to Evolve Greninja into Mega Greninja in Pokemon Legends ZA
You will need a Greninja and its Mega Stone, which is a Greninjite, to evolve Greninja into Mega Greninja. There is no direct method to catch Mega Greninja; however, once you have a Greninjite, make Greninja hold it and use a Key Stone to Mega Evolve the character.
Right now, there is only one known method to obtain a Greninjite, which is by the Z-A Battle Club as rewards for battling other Trainers in online Ranked Battles. The online multiplayer mode is the Link Play option in your Menu, which can be unlocked during the “A New Life in Lumiose City” quest.
Ranked Battles provide three types of rewards: battle rewards obtainable after each battle, promotion rewards obtainable upon rising in rank, and season rewards at the end of the season. Mega Stones for Mega Greninja can only be obtained as rewards for being promoted up the ranks. Rank Battle for Season 1 starts from 16th October, and the ending date is not specified yet.
