Fortnite Gold Sprites: All Variants and How to Get Them

Fortnite has introduced a second variant called the Gold Sprite in Chapter 7 Season 4 Override. These Sprites have a solid gold body and shine with a golden luster, making them easy to spot from afar. That said, here is everything you need to know about Gold Sprites in Fortnite, their powers, and how to obtain them.

All Fortnite Gold Sprites and Their Powers

There are 11 Gold Sprite variants that you can obtain in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. The bulk of them are based on original characters, while three (Sonic, Tails, and Shadow) are part of the latest Sonic collab. Here’s the full list of Gold Sprites currently available in Fortnite:

As for their special buff, the Gold Sprites in Fortnite let you gain 3x bonus XP from eliminations. If you’re good at eliminating players, you can use these Sprites to boost XP in every match. You’ll be able to complete your Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Battle Pass quicker.

That said, be careful, as other players will have the same idea. Moreover, if you’re spotted carrying a Gold Sprite in Fortnite, expect to be hunted since this variant is new. Remember to attend Sprite Events in Fortnite to improve the odds of finding these creatures easily.

How to Get Fortnite Gold Sprites: All Locations

Unlike regular Sprites, which can be found in Chests, or the Cheat Master Sprites that can be obtained from Fortnite Lobby Hack (Admin Panel) Codes, Gold Sprites are locked behind Fortnite Cheat Codes. You can obtain them by finding and entering Cheat Codes or by eliminating opponents. On that note, here are all Gold Sprites in Fortnite and how to get them.

Aside from the aforementioned methods, you can also turn to trading Sprites in Fortnite. However, for the time being, we recommend that you collect all base variants of the new Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 first. You’ll have plenty of time to look for others.

How Rare Are Gold Sprites in Fortnite?

Gold Sprites are some of the rarest Sprites in Fortnite this season, even if they could be obtained from Cheat Codes. Furthermore, after our findings, we believe that Gold Sprites have a drop rate as low as  0.05%, but it’s not as low as Cheat Master Sprites in Fortnite. We’ll update the stats as soon as they become available.

However, we also found that the Gold Klombo Sprite in Fortnite is by far the rarest Sprite with a drop rate of 0.00001%, and it is rarer than Galaxy, Cube, Gem, Grim, and Zero Point Sprite variants combined. It has not been found yet in-game, so players are expecting to see one soon.

That said, you’ll have to explore Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4’s map and look for as many Cheat Codes as you can in every match. We personally recommend searching in and around Stone Sanctum. It’s a good POI and has vaults that can be looted to obtain some of the best weapons from the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 loot pool.
