How to Get Free Fortnitemares Skin and Cosmetics in Fortnite

After a long wait, Fortnitemares is finally here, and it brings every Halloween-themed cosmetic or gameplay item a Fortnite player could dream of. This year’s edition of Fortnitemares is Fortnite’s most ambitious Halloween event yet, which is full of crossovers, right from Scooby Doo to Doja Cat.

The island has also received major changes with update 37.50, where five new POIs have been added and pumpkins have appeared on the map. Players can find some new weapons and items on their way to Victory Royale.

While most of these collabs are purely paid skins that will be released in the Item Shop, players who still prefer the free-to-play spirit of Fortnite won’t be left behind. Epic has also announced several cosmetic items that players can claim for free during Fortnitemares, either via quests, logging in, or tuning into Twitch Drops. All Fortnitemares Quests and Free Rewards

First up, Fortnitemares quests! Players can now complete in-game quests and unlock free cosmetic items as they progress, including Pyg the Butcher skin and its accompanying cosmetics.

However, to level up, you’ll need to complete some special Scooby Doo Tricks or Treats quests which will be gradually available in four sets throughout Fortnitemares. Thankfully, we’ve got the full list of each of the Tricks quests and Treats quests for you right here:

Tricks Quests and Rewards

• Call players with Last Call (10) – 10,000 XP
• Damage opponents with Last Call or with Chainsaw (400) – 10,000 XP
• Damage players with the Stake Launcher or with the Chainsaw (500) – 10,000 XP
• Defeat Jason (1) – 10,000 XP
• Defeat Ultima Carver (1) – 10,000 XP
• Defeat the Mother of Thorns (1) – 10,000 XP
• Eliminate opponents at Creepy Camps (9) – 10,000 XP
• Eliminate players with the Stalker Knife (7) – 10,000 XP
• Hit an opponent while grinding on vines or rails at Viney Shafts (1) – 10,000 XP
• Hit different players with Last Call (7) – 10,000 XP
• Pick up the phone at a Stalkbox (2) – 10,000 XP

Treats Quests and Rewards

• Carve pumpkins (5) – 10,000 XP
• Collect consumables (15) – 10,000 XP
• Consume food at night (4) – 10,000 XP
• Hide in dumpsters in different matches (4) – 10,000 XP
• Pull consumables with the Thorn Ripper (5) – 10,000 XP
• Receive gifts from characters (3) – 10,000 XP
• Restore health or gain shields by consuming food at night (200) – 10,000 XP
• Restore health or gain shields with Scooby Snacks (450) – 10,000 XP
• Smash Pumpkin Chests (10) – 10,000 XP
• Travel distance while sprinting at Creepy Camps or Freaky Fields (500) – 10,000 XP

Fortnitemares Twitch Drops Rewards

Fortnitemares is screaming into streams, too. Watch any stream in the Fortnite category on Twitch from October 9 at 9 AM ET ‘til October 12 at 11:59 PM ET to unlock:

• Treat Sack Back Bling (Watch for 30 minutes cumulative)
• Treat Axe Pickaxe (Watch for 1 hour cumulative)

Free Fortnitemares Login Reward

Fortnite is also granting players a free Sprite Plushie Back Bling if they log in during Fortnitemares. You don’t necessarily need to play any match or Fortnite experience; just log in and claim your free reward in your locker.

All the Fortnitemares quests and login rewards are only available to claim until November 1, 2025, when the event comes to an end. So hurry up and unlock them while they’re still available.
