They also announced the game’s early access beta, which will be available to anyone who pre-ordered on August 30. Call Of Duty Black Ops 6 early access beta will start on August 30 at 10 PM Pacific Time, and last till Wednesday, September 4th at 10 AM. The open beta will begin on September 6th at 10 AM PT and will go on till September 9th at 10 AM for those who have not pre-ordered the game. For more details, checkout their official page.
Note: Players who already have Call Of Duty Warzone Season 5.5 loaded on their machine will immediately receive the Black Ops 6 beta as a small update to their existing content. They do not need to preload the game into their system. This guide is for people who haven’t installed the game.
How to Preload Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta on PS5/PS4
Yes, Black Ops 6 will also arrive on last-generation systems so those of you who have still not updated can also join the action. If you have preordered the game already, here is how to preload the early access beta for your console.
- Head over to the PlayStation Store and search for Black Ops 6.
- Go to the game’s page and tap on the three-dot menu next to the preorder price.
- Here, scroll down to Beta and select it.
- Now, select Download and then on Install.
It’ll download Call of Duty HQ and then the Multiplayer beta for Black Ops 6. If you already have Call of Duty HQ installed, launch it and select Black Ops 6. From there, you can download the game’s beta.
How to Preload Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One
If you don’t have Call Of Duty HQ installed on your system, then just like we showed on PlayStation, you’ll have to download that first in order to preload the beta. Here’s how to do it.
- Xbox players need to head over to Microsoft (Xbox) Store and search for Black Ops 6.
- Open the store page for the game, and select the Pre-Install.
- The pop-up page will tell you how much space it will take, select Next.
This will start preloading the game for you so it is ready when the beta arrives.
How to Preload Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Beta on PC
PC players require Battle.net to play the game’s upcoming beta. So assuming you have it installed with you, here are the steps to get the multiplayer beta.
- Select Call of Duty and click on Settings next to the Play option.
- Then select “Modify Install”. Using the pop-up menu, open the Content page.
- Here, choose “Modify Install” again.
- You should see the Black Ops 6 here. Click on it and select Confirm.
- Lastly, select “Start Update” to begin downloading the beta.
