So, how long is the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree DLC? Let’s find out!
How Long to Beat Elden Ring Shadow of The Erdtree Campaign?
Much like other open-world games, Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree has a lot of content. However, our playthrough of the game has already shed light on how it takes to edit the Elden Ring DLC.
It took us about 30 hours to Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. There are seven main campaign bosses you must defeat to finish the DLC. The large chunk of the time required for the main campaign is based on the boss’s difficulty and trouble finding the cryptic paths, which there are a lot in the DLC.
However, if you want to finish it all, it will naturally take more time. As such, it will take roughly around 70 hours to fully beat Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree. This includes defeating all bosses and obtaining all items, weapons, talismans, spells, and incantations.
This is because the game has over 100+ new weapons and new weapon types. Furthermore, there are more optional bosses than main campaign bosses in the game, making the optional bosses the larger chunk of the DLC content. If you’re still curious, here is all the time it will take to beat Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree.
- Main Campaign: 25-30 Hours
- Main Campaign + Side Bosses: 40-50 Hours
- Shadow of the Erdtree Completionist: 65-70 Hours
Obviously, these numbers are an estimate from our experience and may vary from player to player. You will likely take much longer if you get stuck on a boss or have trouble finding the correct paths, or vice versa. Highly skilled players should reach the final boss in less than 15 hours, as long they know the correct path.
