The Rod of the Forgotten Fang can be crafted at the Ancient Archives chamber located in the Ancient Isles. Locating the Ancient Isles is quite easy once you step into the sea. Use a boat to reach this island; however, be careful, as you might encounter a few obstacles near the Ancient Isles.
After you land on the Ancient Isles, head to the western side, where you will find a waterfall. Here you will need a glider to go inside the cave behind the waterfall. Finally, come down to the secret chamber using the rope inside the cave. Inside this chamber, you will require 4 Ancient Fragments to open the Ancient Archives door.
