- Deadlock uses MMR to pair players of similar skill levels during matchmaking.
- Despite the MMR system, the developers have not yet made the show MMR section visible.
- To check your MMR and other stats, you can use third-party Deadlock MMR tracking tools.
MMR, also known as Matchmaking Rating is a crucial way to determine your skill in competitive games. The MMR you gain by winning matches decides your opponents for further lobbies. Just like other competitive games, Valve’s Deadlock also runs on the MMR system to make certain lobbies full of equal-level players. Want to know where you stand? Learn how to find your Deadlock MMR right here.
How to Find Your MMR in Deadlock
Unfortunately, Deadlock itself does not have an MMR or rank section to show your rating. Your profile in Deadlock currently only shows stats and replays for every hero you played in recent times. This means, that to find your MMR, you cannot rely on your game yet.
However, you can use Deadlock MMR tracker websites to check it. Just like checking pick and win rates, the tracker websites work smoothly. Here is how you can check your Deadlock MMR:
- Go to the Deadlock Tracker website.
- Click the Log in with Steam button and authorize the login.
- You will find your max rating on the right side.
Is the Deadlock MMR Tracker Accurate?
Currently, MMR is a hidden system that Deadlock developers do not want players to know about. For the same reason, Valve has cut off API access to stat tracker websites. This means the MMR we see on the tracker website might not be fully accurate. As the game is in early development, we can expect the MMR system to be public in the game soon.
In a Discord announcement, Yoshi, a lead developer on Deadlock assured that the MMR is still in the works. According to him, the developers will rewrite how matchmaking rating works. For now, invite your friends and get souls fast to dominate enemies in Deadlock.
