Or you may want to spot a problem with a recent subscription. Whatever the reason, you must know how to check your purchase history on the App Store. This way, you can see a list of all purchases you’ve made across all your Apple devices, including the paid as well as the free apps. Without any ado, let’s learn how to check your App Store history.

Method 1: Check Purchases on iPhone/iPad

You can easily check your App Store purchase history using your iPhone or iPad. The process is pretty simple and should be done in a few taps. Here’s how to check app downloads and subscriptions on the App Store:

  • Open the App Store and tap on your profile picture or initials from the top right corner.
  • Here, tap on Purchase History.
  • This will bring up a list of all the apps, music, subscriptions, and any other content you’ve recently purchased online.
Open App Store and check your Account Information
  • If you’re looking for a specific item, you can search for an item by name, Order ID, or even the price.
  • By default, you’ll see paid purchases in the past 90 days. To view older purchases or free purchases on the App Store, tap on “Last 90 Days, Paid” and apply your own filters.

If you can’t find a specific item, that item is likely bought under a different Apple ID. In case you see any unexpected charges, you can check with your family member who has access to your Apple ID or the device. If you’ve been charged for purchases you didn’t make, you can request for a refund.

Method 2: Check App Purchases on Mac

Just like an iPhone or iPad, you can use your Mac to check your paid subscriptions and see all transactions in the App Store. Here’s how to do it:

  • Open the App Store and click on your profile-picture or profile-icon from the bottom-left.
Account Settings in App Store on Mac
  • Here, click on Account Settings. You’ll be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.

  • Open the Apple TV or Apple Music app.
  •  From the bottom, choose your name and then click on View My Account. You might be prompted to sign in with your Apple ID.
  • Now, scroll down and visit the Purchase History section.
  • Next to Most Recent Purchase, click on the See All button.
  • In a moment, you’ll see your App Store transactions and subscriptions.
  • To see older transactions, click on “Last 90 days” and filter your purchase history.

Method 4: On any web browser

Apart from Apple devices, you can also see your order history on the App Store from any non-Apple device. As long as you know your Apple ID and password, you can see your app downloads and paid subscriptions on an Android, Windows, or any other device with a web browser.

Bear in mind that this method will only show you the recent purchases and there’s no way to filter the items based on month or year.

  • On any web browser, open reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Now, sign in with your Apple ID. If you’ve enabled Two-Factor Authentication, you need to enter a code sent on your trusted Apple devices.
  • Once you’ve signed in, you’ll see a list of your recent purchases.

Why can’t I see my purchase history on App Store?

If you can’t see your App Store purchases, you might have purchased that item with a different Apple ID. This is pretty common when you use more than one Apple ID. To find the specific item, sign in with the other Apple ID and check your purchase history.

How far back does App Store purchase history go?

By default, you see your transactions for the last 90 days. You can easily see all the way back to last year’s transactions when checking your App Store purchase history on an iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Windows PC.
