The Ancient Isles update in Roblox Fisch is finally here, introducing an all-new island in the game. With this new update, we have a new limited-time fish called the Megalodon. Some of you might be familiar with this huge shark as it was once the largest fish to ever exist in the real world about 3.2 million years ago. Now, you too can catch this ancient fish and show it off to your friends. So, what are you waiting for, learn how to catch the Megalodon in Roblox Fisch here.
Where to Find Megalodon in Fisch
The Megalodon is only available during the Megalodon Hunt, which happens behind the Ancient Isles. Look out for the notification on the top of your screen saying the event is currently happening on your server.
Once the event starts, go behind the island and look out for a red-black sparkling cloud above the sea. Turning on your Fish radar will indicate the region below the cloud where you need to fish to catch the Megalodon.
Now, to reach the Ancient Isles (coordinates:- XYZ: 5833, 125, 401), grab the Fisch GPS and follow the steps below to do so:
- Talk to the shipwright of the island where you are currently staying. Spawn your boat and head out into the ocean.
- Once you are out of your island’s range, you will notice the Ancient Isles written in yellow-green on the top of your screen.
- Head straight in the direction of the island. However, be alert always as once you come close to the Ancient Isles, you will encounter some obstacles like bombs and spikes.
- Steer slowly once you are near the island as the obstacles may appear on the sea level at any random moment. If you happen to hit these, your boat will take damage and the boat’s health will decrease by 20 points.
Apparently, there is an alternative way to spawn a Megalodon manually. However, this process might take a while and a bit of your savings, so its recommended for players who have passed the mid-game level cap (above 50).
Head to the Sunstone Island and buy some Sundial Totems that costs 2000 cash each. Now return to the Ancient Isles and get ready with your boat. All you need to do is keep spamming these Sundial Totems to change the time in your server. This will cause the in-game time to move faster and eventually spawn a Megalodon behind the Ancient Isles. Keep in mind that this method does not always guarantee a Meg, rather is an alternative to waiting for this fish to spawn.
How to Catch the Megalodon in Fisch
The Megalodon is the only fish in the game that has a cutscene once you catch it. Moreover, you see a cool animation of the fish jumping out of the water above your head with its eyes glowing red and a few sparks coming out of it. To catch this Exotic fish in the game you need to fulfill the following conditions:
- Only caught during the Megalodon Event
- Favorite Bait: Shark Head (Found in Quality Bait Crates)
- No Specific Weather, Time, or Season preferences
- Best Fishing Rods: No-Life Rod, Rod of the Forgotten Fang, King’s Rod
Head under the sparkling reddish-black cloud during the Megalodon event behind the Ancient Isles and turn on your Fish Radar to reach the specific location. Use the Shark Bait, start fishing in this red shaded region, and wait for the Megalodon to get hooked to your rod.
Once hooked, the fish will reduce the progress speed by 80%. So, you will need a rod with good Control and Resilient stat as the fish moves frantically in the progress bar.
The first choice for endgame players is the No-Life Rod or the Rod of the Forgotten Fang. If you are a mid-game player, you might consider the King’s Rod as it has high Resilience and control as well as Infinite Max Kg stat.
Furthermore, enchanting the No-Life Rod and Rod of the Forgotten Fang with Hasty, Controlled, or Steady will be the best choice. For the King’s Rod, consider enchanting it with Hasty, Divine, or Quality to make your fishing experience better.
