Honkai Star Rail 4.x is the next big update for the game, which will add the next destination of Trailblazing. According to leaks, Edo Star is going to be the next main hub for Trailblazing shenanigans, and that also means a completely new cast of characters will be added to the game. Although no official information has come out yet, leaks have started to come out about the upcoming HSR character roadmap. We have compiled all the information from the trustworthy leaks and have created this list of all Honkai Star Rail Edo Star characters.

1. Sparkle’s New Form

The first character leaked for the Honkai Star Rail 4.0 is none other than Sparkle. However, unlike her Harmony version from the Penacony arc, this Sparkle would be more to her core principles. She is expected to be the first Elation character in Honkai Star Rail, and is suspected to be a DPS or Sub-DPS. Also, another fun leak reveals that Sparkle’s Harmony form will be the best partner for Sparkle’s new Elation form.
2. Yaoguang

Alongside Sparkle, Yaoguang of the Xianzhou Yuque is also expected to be released in 4.0. She is one of the seven Arbiter-Generals and is known as the Seer Strategist of Xianzhou. Being an Arbiter General, we can expect big things from Yaoguang. Also, Yaoguang was leaked to share the same position as Sparkle’s new form, so she will likely be a DPS or sub-DPS as well.
3. La Mancha

La Mancha is the current leader of the Galaxy Rangers in Honkai Star Rail. Currently, we don’t even know La Mancha’s gender. The only information we have is that the character is based on the main character of the novel Don Quixote. Although the main character was a male, Hoyoverse is infamous for gender bending their characters. Being the leader of Galaxy Rangers, we can at least confirm that La Mancha will follow the Hunt path.
4. Pearl

Pearl is one of the Ten Stonehearts in the IPC, and she ranks as P45 senior manager of the Strategic Investment Department. She was first revealed in the Stoneheart’s Oath Ring Myriad Celestia Trailer, as she and others cast a vote for Aventurine’s future. Pearl is expected to be released in Honkai Star Rail 4.1, and there is a possibility that she is a Preservation character.
5. Silver Wolf’s New Form

Another well-known character that is rumored to receive a rework in Honkai Star Rail 4.x is Silver Wolf. She is also not the only Stellaron Hunter that has been leaked for 4.x, hinting that Edo Star will be deeply connected to Stellaron Hunter’s storyline. There is not much information about Silver Wolf’s new character design, but she will likely not be a support this time around.
6. Yae Sakura

- Expected Release: 4.2
Yae Sakura is a character from Honkai Impact 3rd, and her EXPY is expected to feature in HSR 4.3. The Yae Sakura EXPY is also expected to be the main highlight of the version 4.x storyline, and her character will likely be a native of Edo Star. Acheron had previously made a mention about her in passing, but she has yet to appear in the story. Another early leak mentions that Yae Sakura will use the Ice element and is a main DPS.
7. Blade’s New Form

- Expected Release: 4.3 or later
Like Silver Wolf, Blade has also been leaked to get a new 5-star form. Blade was one of the most popular characters back in the day, so his getting back into the main meta will be well-received. These leaks also strengthen the claim that Stellaron Hunters are very involved in the affairs of Edo Star’s storyline. He will likely be a DPS character, because I can’t really see Blade as a support or sustain.
8. Himeko’s New Form
- Rarity: 5-star
- Path: Unknown
- Element: Fire
- Expected Release: 4.3 or later
Finally, Himeko is also expected to get a new 5-star form in version 4.x. The recent leaks mention her featured in 4.3, but there is a possibility of her appearing later in 4.x versions. Another leak had mentioned that Himeko and Yae Sakura will be the main focus in the Edo Star storyline. This should excite Himeko fans who have waited this long for her to be competitive in the HSR meta. Although her current character is still good in Pure Fiction, she is pretty useless for every other area in the game. Himeko is also likely to have the Fire element, as it is deeply connected to her lore from Honkai Impact 3rd.
