Ghost of Yotei releases on October 2, 2025, at 12 AM local time. This means no matter where in the world you are, the moment the clock strikes midnight in your region, you’ll unlock access to the game.
However, for the U.S., it’s a different story altogether — while the game releases on the East Coast (ET) at midnight, it will release 3 hours earlier than midnight on the West Coast (PDT), which means it’s a win-win situation for Pacific Time players who won’t need to wait until the clock strikes 12 on that side.

Is There Any Pre-Load or Early Access for Ghost of Yotei?
There are no pre-loads or early access available for Ghost of Yotei. As PlayStation fans would’ve thought that the title would give Digital Deluxe pre-orders access to the game for up to 2 days, unfortunately, that won’t be the case. Buyers of the premium editions of the game will receive in-game benefits such as Traveller’s Maps, Armor, Dye Kits, and more.
Furthermore, you won’t be able to pre-load the game as once it’s available in your region, downloading will only begin at that time.
