Like almost always, the Cryo Traveler will be released with the launch of a new region. This means that the Cryo Traveler will be released in Genshin Impact 7.0, which should be around August 12, 2026. As the Cryo Archon Anastasya Feodorovna Snezhnaya will be part of the story from the get-go, the Traveler should get their Cryo powers at the very start as well. Genshin Impact Cryo Traveler Kit
The Genshin Impact Cryo Traveler kit has also been leaked. Cryo Traveler will also have the Stellar Conduct reaction as part of their kit, similar to Sandrone and Alyosha. Other than that, here is everything we know about the Genshin Impact Cryo Traveler’s kit:
- Element: Cryo
- Weapon: Sword
- Elemental Skill: Frostmist Blade
- Elemental Burst: Frozen Spear
- Passive 1: Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: While Frigid Froststar is active, the Traveler’s Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks are converted to Cryo DMG that cannot be overridden by other Elemental Infusions, and their damage is increased by an amount equal to 80% of the Traveler’s ATK.
- Passive 2: The Traveler gains Elemental Mastery equal to 8% of the Traveler’s ATK, up to a maximum of 160 Elemental Mastery.
- Passive 3: Drawing upon power gathered throughout the Traveler’s journey, each Element they have resonated with grants an additional enhancement. Additionally, whenever nearby party members deal Stellar-Conduct or Stellar-Swirl Reaction DMG, the Traveler gains 1 stack of Frozen Blade. This effect can occur once every 2s, up to 3 stacks. At 3 Frozen Blade stacks, performing a Charged Attack consumes all stacks and replaces it with the special Charged Attack: Frostfreeze.
- Charged Attack: Frostfreeze: Deals increased Cryo DMG, with the bonus damage equal to 14.0% of the Traveler’s ATK. Grants the Traveler 2 Frostglow stacks.
- Charged Attack: Frostfreeze can be performed once every 15s. Additionally, the damage bonus from the Ascension Passive Self-Honed Frost does not apply to Charged Attack: Frostfreeze.
- Radiance: Stellar-Flare: Charged Attack: Frostfreeze instead deals Cryo DMG that is considered the corresponding Stellar-Flare Reaction DMG.
- Passive 4: While inside a Polestar Field, or for 8s after triggering a Stellar-Swirl reaction, the Traveler enters Radiance: Stellar-Conduct or Radiance: Stellar-Swirl, respectively. When party members trigger Superconduct or Cryo Swirl, they instead trigger Stellar-Conduct or Stellar-Swirl. Additionally, based on the Traveler’s ATK, the base damage of these reactions is increased for all party members: Every 100 ATK increases the base damage of Stellar-Conduct and Stellar-Swirl by 0.35%, up to a maximum of 7%.
Cryo Traveler Elemental Skill — Frostmist Blade
Using Genshin Impact Cryo Traveler’s Elemental Skill makes them thrust their weapon forward, which releases a freezing mist. This mist deals Cryo DMG to enemies ahead while conjuring a Frigid Froststar beside the Traveler.
Frigid Froststar: Follows the active character and periodically fires ice crystals at nearby enemies, dealing Cryo DMG. Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: Instead of firing ice crystals periodically, Frigid Froststar fires an ice crystal whenever the Traveler’s Normal Attack, Charged Attack, or Plunging Attack hits an enemy, performing a coordinated attack. When an ice crystal hits an enemy, the Traveler gains 1 stack of Frostglow, up to 8 stacks. When out of combat, Frostglow stacks are cleared after 30s.

Frostglow: A special effect gained when an ice crystal fired by Frigid Froststar hits an enemy, or when performing Charged Attack: Frostfreeze after unlocking the Talent Layers of a Foreign Land. Can stack up to 8 times.
When casting Elemental Burst: Frozen Spear, the Traveler consumes all Frostglow stacks to increase the Burst’s damage. If 8 stacks are consumed, the Burst also gains additional hits.
Cryo Traveler Elemental Burst — Frozen Spear
Cryo Traveler’s Elemental Burst in Genshin Impact condenses the power of Cryo into a spear and hurls it at enemies, dealing multiple instances of Cryo DMG. Upon casting, the Traveler consumes all Frostglow stacks, increasing this Elemental Burst’s damage. If 8 Frostglow stacks are consumed, the spear deals additional hits.
Radiance: Stellar-Flare: This Elemental Burst instead deals Cryo DMG that is considered the corresponding Stellar-Flare Reaction DMG.

Genshin Impact Cryo Traveler Constellations
Genshin Impact Cryo Traveler kit is only enhanced with the constellations. Their constellations have also been leaked, and they are looking quite strong. Here is a quick guide to all revealed constellations:
- Constellation 1 (C1): When the Traveler deals Stellar-Flare Reaction DMG, they restore 5 Elemental Energy. This effect can occur once every 0.5s.
- Constellation 2 (C2): After an ice crystal hits an enemy, the active character gains 60 Elemental Mastery for 5s. Additionally, if that character triggers a Stellar Reaction or deals Stellar-Flare Reaction DMG, this effect instead grants 120 Elemental Mastery for the remaining duration.
- Constellation 4 (C4): Increases Frigid Froststar’s duration by 25%.
- Constellation 6 (C6): When casting Frozen Spear, each Frostglow stack consumed increases other party members’ Stellar-Flare Reaction DMG by 5%, up to a maximum of 40%, lasting 15s.
