Kei Urana’s Gachiakuta, one of the new-gen shonen series, is rising in prominence after the debut of the anime adaptation by Bones Films. One of the main reasons why this new-gen shonen title is seeing increased interest is its set of dynamic characters. Character Ages in Dandadan
Unlike its fellow new-gen shonen titles, such as Dandadan or Kaiju No. 8, Gachiakuta’s main character ages have been revealed in the character cards by the author Kei Urana. So, there is no need for speculation, and let’s begin:
1. Rudo Surebrec – 15 Years Old
Starting with Rudo Surebrec, of course, who is the poster child of the Gachiakuta series. Rudo has been living a hard life since his birth. Thankfully, this orphan kid was adopted by Regto. Later, Rudo gets falsely accused of murdering his stepfather and is thrown into the pit.
Based on his appearance and personality, it is evident that Rudo is still a teenager, and the author has confirmed that he is 15 years old in the story as of now. Rudo has become a part of the cleaners, and we can’t wait to see his character growth in the upcoming arcs.
2. Enjin – 28 Years Old
If it weren’t for Enjin, Rudo wouldn’t have survived after being thrown into the pit by the Spherites. Enjin is the main supporting lead of Gachiakuta, and his appearance doesn’t reveal his true age. Enjin may look younger, like he is in his early 20s, but that’s not the case, as the author has confirmed that he is 28 years old. Enjin is one of the main members of the Cleaners group, and he leads Team Akuta in Gachiakuta.
3. Riyo Reaper – 16 Years Old
Riyo Reaper is the third cleaner to be introduced in the story. As you can see, Riyo is also a teenage girl, and she is in the same age bracket as our protagonist, Rudo. The creator has now confirmed that Riyo is 16 years old in Gachiakuta, a year older than Rudo. Riyo has become one of the vital members of the Cleaners and always leaves a mark with her scissor jinki.
4. Zanka Nijiku – 17 Years Old
The next cleaner we meet after Enjin is Zanka, who hails from the esteemed Nijiku family. Similar to Rudo and Riyo, Zanka is also a teenager, precisely 17 years old in the story. Despite his young age, Zanka is an experienced cleaner who has deep expertise in vital instruments. That is why Enjin assigned Zanka as Rudo’s trainer, as the latter lacks knowledge in this field.
5. Semiu Grier – 26 Years Old
When Enjin took Rudo to the headquarters of the cleaners, Semiu Grier welcomed and checked our protagonist. She is the receptionist and a member of the Team Front of the cleaners. Semiu is around the same age as Enjin, i.e., 26 years old in Gachiakuta. Her glasses, aka eyes, are her vital instrument, which she uses to look into the soul of a person, and her improved acuity can also help her in battles.
6. Gris Rubion – 30 Years Old
Enough of combatants, let’s meet the fan-favorite supporter, Gris Rubion. Gris is a dedicated member of the cleaners who aids the group as a strong supporter. He was the one who lifted Rudo’s spirits when the kid was deeply troubled by his lack of progress in life. Gris, the senior supporter, is 30 years old in the story, and he almost met his end at the hands of Jabber Wonger.
7. Delmon Gates – 45 Years Old
If you are eager to find out who the oldest character in the cleaners is, it’s none other than Delmon Gates, whose age is 45 in the story. Delmon is part of Team Eager, along with Tamsy Caines, in the cleaners. One more remarkable thing to note is that he is also said to be the tallest character in the series.
8. Tamsy Caines – 23 Years Old
Tamsy Caines is also a member of the cleaners who works alongside Delmon Gates. He is seen as the calmest individual in the group and is mentioned to be 23 years old in the story. Tamsy made his debut in the series when the cleaners set out to visit the no-man’s land.
9. Jabber Wonger – 18 Years Old
Mr. Dread Head has been the center of attention since his introduction in the Raiders Trap arc. Jabber Wonger is one of the main villains in Gachiakuta, and he is just 18 years old in the story. He was the first person sent to capture the spherite, Rudo, and he continues to be one of the antagonists of Gachiakuta.
10. Zodyl Typhon – 23 Years Old
We have been dying to meet the boss of the Raiders for a long time, and he made his way into the series to kidnap Rudo. Don’t be fooled by his older appearance, as Zodyl is revealed to be around 23 years old in the series.
