This Power Hour will be special, as players will get a chance to test out the Seven Cluster Cannon, a powerful new weapon related to the Seven that will see a full release in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2. The developers execute these events on back-to-back dates to give players a chance to engage with the Fortnite Power Hour offerings even if they missed the first one.
The gameplay changes for the March 8 Power Hour will be the same as those on Saturday. However, it takes place at a drastically different time, leading to easier lobbies with fewer sweaty players.
Fortnite Power Hour (March 7 & March 8) Gameplay Changes

Getting to the real meat of a Fortnite Power Hour is with the gameplay changes that Epic Games adds to regular Battle Royale to spice up combat and give players a better shot at securing a Victory Royale. According to Epic Games’ official blog announcement, this weekend’s Fortnite Power Hours will feature the following changes:
- Everyone starts with a Seven Cluster Cannon, an unreleased, high-impact explosive weapon.
- Everyone starts with a Self-Revive Device.
- A Rift Anomaly is guaranteed to appear with every Storm circle.
- Glider Redeploy is enabled. Activate your Glider mid-air to avoid fall damage and travel farther.

The developers are seemingly using these events to further build hype for the return of the Seven, with the faction having a big role to play in the Fortnite storyline in Chapter 7 Season 2.
