The Kingdom Hearts collab is one of the most highly anticipated ones for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4. It was featured on the official key art for Override and was supposed to take center stage, but it would seem that things have been delayed. It is still coming, but the timeline has seemingly shifted. That said, here is everything you need to know about the Fortnite x Kingdom Hearts collab.
When Will Fortnite Kingdom Hearts Collab Release?
According to leakers, the Fortnite collab with Kingdom Hearts was supposed to release after the Crash Bandicoot Fortnite skin went live. However, it has since been delayed. Nevertheless, there is some good news, as the Kingdom Hearts collab could release in the next Fortnite update, v42.20, scheduled for September 17, 2026.
Furthermore, on September 8, 2026, the Epic Games Store’s “As Seen in Fortnite” section received a new image featuring Fortnite collabs. The only unreleased Fortnite collabs listed are Kingdom Hearts and Screamer. This also hints towards them being released next week.
Kingdom Hearts Fortnite Collab to Feature Sora Skin and Keyblade Weapon
We know for a fact that Sora and the Keyblade weapon (a reskin of the Typhoon Blade) are coming as part of the Fortnite Kingdom Hearts collab. Riku and Kairi are also potential candidates for skins, but there have been no leaks to back up this claim thus far. On a side note, Steam achievements for Kingdom Hearts 4 have leaked, revealing several unannounced worlds coming at launch.
Returning to the Fortnite Kingdom Hearts collab, we also know it will be part of Rocket League. Fortnite leaks shared in August offered a first look at the upcoming Kingdom Hearts Crossover with Rocket League. At least one new vehicle and several decals were found in the files.
