- There are a total of 8 Fortnite Cube Sprite variants in Chapter 7 Season 3.
- Players can find the Cube Sprites in Fortnite by searching for them in rare chests and Sprite Chests.
- The Cube Sprites apply an Overdrive effect on players while they are stuck in the storm.
Fortnite has added a new Sprite variant to Chapter 7 Season 3 called the Cube Sprite with the July 23 hotfix. The Sprite is inspired by Kevin the Cube and can now be found across the island. So if you’re hunting them on the Battle Royale island, here’s all you need to know about Fortnite Cube Sprites.
All Fortnite Cube Sprite Variants and Their Powers
At the time of writing, there are only 8 Fortnite Cube Sprite variants available in Chapter 7 Season 3. This is much like the Holofoil Sprites, which also don’t have a special variant for every Sprite in the game.
When it comes to their collective powers, Fortnite Cube Sprites apply an Overdrive effect on players, on top of their individual variant abilities, but only if they are stuck inside the storm. This means the Sprite buff does not work once you are outside the storm and have reached the safe zone.
But when it works, it applies a similar effect to the Striker Sprite, where you can sprint faster for a specific time period and leap higher around the Fortnite island. So we recommend using the Fortnite Cube Sprites only if you’re playing to survive the late game storm circles for quick escapes.
Here is a list of all the Cube Sprite variants you can find in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3:
- Cube Earth Sprite
- Cube Fire Sprite
- Cube Fishy Sprite
- Cube Punk Sprite
- Cube Dream Sprite
- Cube Boss Sprite
- Cube Grim Sprite
- Cube Batman Sprite

How Rare Are Cube Sprites in Fortnite?
As of yet, we don’t know how rare Fortnite Cube Sprites and their variants are since they were added with the July 23 hotfix.
