Now, Epic has added the new Fortnite Bank Shot Pistol, a weapon that completely flips the current gunplay on its head and tasks players to think before they shoot. How to Get Bank Shot Pistol in Fortnite

You can get the Bank Shot Pistol in Fortnite through regular loot sources like chests, rare chests, and fishing spots. The Bank Shot Pistol is not an extremely rare item in the loot pool, and it is available in the following rarities:

• Uncommon
• Rare
• Epic
• Legendary
• Mythic

At the time of writing, Epic also has an Exotic version of the Bank Shot Pistol in the game files for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3. However, it seems to be still in development, with Epic likely adding it with the next Fortnite update.

If you want to focus on finding the extremely powerful Mythic version of the Bank Shot Pistol, you should try hitting the different Vaults in Chapter 7 Season 3. The Renegade Vaults hold at least 1 rare Chest and 1 Sprite Chest, while the Sprite Vaults hold multiple rare Chests. How to Use Bank Shot Pistol in Fortnite

You can use the Bank Shot Pistol in Fortnite by utilising its unique ricochet mechanic and flushing out enemies. When you fire a bullet from the Bank Shot Pistol, it can bounce off walls, ceilings, and floors. While this sounds like a fun mechanic, it can be incredibly tough to master.

That said, here are the steps you can follow to use the Bank Shot Pistol efficiently during a match:

• Locate the Bank Shot Pistol on the Chapter 7 Season 3 map.
• Equip your Bank Shot Pistol.
• Take aim by pressing L2/LT on your controller or right-clicking on your mouse.
• When you take aim, you will see a line that tells you the trajectory of the bullet.
• Fire the Bank Shot Pistol by pressing R2/RT on your controller or left-clicking on your mouse.

The Bank Shot Pistol only has 1 shot in each magazine, which means players need to reload their gun after every shot. If you hit an enemy with a direct shot using the Bank Shot Pistol, it still packs a hell of a punch. This is especially true for the higher rarities of this weapon, as they can one-shot enemies easily.

The ricochet bullet mechanic also rewards you plenty, as a bullet bouncing off a surface and hitting an enemy can grant you a 1.5x damage boost. The Exotic version of the Bank Shot Pistol, which is currently unreleased, is expected to work similarly to The Foundation’s Rift Rifle in Fortnite, allowing players to create their own rifts when they shoot.

Here’s a small tip for when you are trying to get the most out of the Bank Shot Pistol in Fortnite: try bouncing your bullets off the floor instead of walls. Since calculating angles can be tricky under pressure, you can also aim straight down and angle your shots to hit your enemy. This allows you to secure the enhanced bank-shot damage while in a close-quarters fight.
