What Is Fisch?
For new players, Fisch is a Roblox game where you can fish (pretty straightforward). However, if you dive a little deeper, Fisch is not just a fishing simulator game with one ‘lure and catch’ minigame. It is also an exploration game where players catch different types of fish, earn money, upgrade their equipment, and explore various islands on Fisch boats.
The game features thousands of fish to find using fishing rods. Fisch also includes baits, enchantments, mutations, and other mechanics that influence your fishing experience. You can improve the stats by enchanting rods in Fisch. But that is quite the later stages.

You begin with basic equipment and gradually work toward better gear, rare catches, and new locations on the Fisch map. As you progress, you can complete quests, discover hidden areas, unlock special equipment, and complete different bestiaries.
During your time in the game, you will find Harpoon Guns in Fisch, which help in catching fish as well. Our Fisch Wiki covers these mechanics and everything else you need to know about the game.
Fisch Core Features
Fisch has several gameplay systems that determine your progression and fishing experience. We will explain them in detail later in our Fisch Wiki. But if you want to jump to a specific section from here, use the links below:
Fisch Rods
Fishing rods are your most important tools in Fisch. Each rod has different stats, passives, and special abilities that affect how you catch fish. There are rods for beginners in Fisch that are easy to obtain and work well early on. Some rods require completing quests, solving puzzles, or collecting rare materials.
While there are endless rods that help you in the game, here are a few that are a must-have for progression:

- Nico’s Yarncaster Rod
- Black Fairy Rod
- Wind Elemental Rod
- Oppressor Rod
- Fabulous Rod
- Elder Mossripper Rod
- Xorcist Rod
- Heaven’s Rod
- Thalassar’s Ruin Rod
- Dutchman’s Rod

Fisch Bestiaries and Fish
The Bestiary in Fisch is an in-game logbook that records the fish you catch across different locations. Each location has its own Bestiary, with entries showing a fish’s rarity, preferred bait, weather, season, and time of day. You can use these details to figure out where and when to catch fish you have yet to discover.
Catching fish helps you complete individual Bestiaries and earn rewards. Some entries are harder to fill than others, especially when you are hunting rare catches. You can explore a few location-specific Bestiaries, including the Living Garden Bestiary, Boreal Pines Bestiary, Luminescent Cavern Bestiary, and Nectar Den Bestiary.
Fisch Baits
Baits in Fisch affect the type of fish you attract and can improve certain fishing stats. Different fish prefer different bait, so choosing the right one can save you time when completing a bestiary or hunting a specific catch.
Some baits are easy to obtain, while others are harder to find and work best with particular rods or locations.
Fisch Mutations
Mutations change a fish’s appearance and increase its selling value. Some Fisch mutations also have special effects or come from specific fishing conditions, rods, and other mechanics.
Knowing which mutations are worth hunting can help you earn more cash from your catches. Players can also appraise fish in Fisch to get mutations on them. This mechanic is limited for some mutations.
Fisch Enchantments
Enchantments improve your fishing rods by adding stat boosts and special abilities. You can use different Enchant Relics to roll for an enchantment, allowing you to improve a rod’s Luck, Lure Speed, Resilience, Control, or other stats.
Fisch Items
Relics are among the most important items in Fisch, especially when you want to enchant rods or unlock special equipment. Totems also play an important role, as they let you change the weather, time, or other conditions.
You can also unlock items like the GPS in Fisch, which helps in navigating the map. The important items in Fisch are located across the map, including in Black Market or even through Merlin’s Quest and Angler Quest.
Fisch Tips, Tricks, and Strategies
Once you understand the main mechanics, you should focus on improving your fishing setup and making progression more efficient. Choosing the right rod, visiting suitable locations, and using the correct enchantments can save you plenty of time.
In our Fisch Wiki, we are also pointing the best tips and tricks to remember when progressing through:
- Choose the right fishing rod: Your rod’s stats determine how effectively you can catch different fish. Use the Fisch rod tier list to compare your options.
- Find good farming locations: Fishing in suitable areas can improve your XP to level up fast in Fisch as well as money gains. The best Fisch farming locations will help you find those locations.
- Use suitable enchantments: Different rods benefit from different bonuses. Make sure you go to the Keeper’s Altar in Fisch and improve the stats of your rod by enchanting it.
- Complete quests: Many fishing rods and special items require completing NPC quests or solving puzzles. Some locations, like the underground music venue in Fisch, also unlock after you do certain quests.
- Understand fishing conditions: Weather, bait, and other conditions can influence which fish you catch. It is better to check the fish stats on the bestiary logbook before going for it blindly.
Fisch Updates
Fisch receives weekly updates that introduce new fishing rods, fish, locations, quests, and gameplay mechanics. These updates can also change existing progression systems and introduce new ways to earn rewards.
Moreover, before the updates, the devs run unique Fisch weather and admin events that help players catch high-rarity fish. This section of our Fisch Wiki will track updates, patch notes, and important gameplay changes:
