How to Obtain Doomsekkar Rod in Fisch

To get your hands on the Fisch Doomsekkar Rod, you will first need to find the Doomsekkar NPC. He is located in the Caustic Hallow area of FischFright 3. Just walk straight past the fountain and take the left road when multiple houses appear. The NPC stands next to the bridge.

Talk to the NPC, and he will give you these objectives to complete:

• Catch 100 fish from Frightful Pools.
• Perfectly catch 50 fish from Frightful Pools.
• Fight the spirits of a haunted house.

Catch 100 Fish From Frightful Pools

Frightful Pools are special zones where you can fish during the FischFright 3 event. Look for the on-screen notification that tells you where a pool has spawned, then head there and start fishing. These are the same pools where you can unlock the new relics.

Get 50 Perfect Catches

The second objective requires you to perfectly catch 50 fish from Frightful Pools. The pools can reduce your control, so make sure to bring in a good rod before you start fishing here. You can complete this and the first quest simultaneously; just aim for perfect catches and you will complete the first two objectives in no time.

Fight the Spirits of a Haunted House

For this objective, you need to look for a house with green numbers outside. Equip your bucket and knock on the door to start trick-or-treating. This will start a ghost minigame. Just keep your circle over the ghost to fill the progress bar and complete the encounter.

Once done, you will be teleported to another realm where you need to fish in any random pool, and you will be teleported back to the event island. You can now return to Doomsekkar to claim your Doomsekkar Rod.

Fisch Doomsekkar Rod Passive and Ability

Fisch Doomsekkar Rod comes with a unique passive where every 0.8 seconds, it plants small pumpkin bombs on your fishing bar. You can have up to six active bombs at a time. If a fish moves into a bomb, it detonates and gives you +8% progress. If the fish is progress locked, the bonus drops to +2.8%. Any bombs that do not detonate will disappear after 45 seconds.

Each bomb that detonates also increases your chance of getting the Doomsekkar mutation by 8%. The rod has a base 10% chance to apply this mutation, which increases the fish’s selling value by 8x.

Once six bombs detonate, the rod unleashes a slash that grants +50% progress and +17.5% progress against Progress Locked fish. It also multiplies the fish’s final weight by 1.8x.

After the sixth detonation, the rod activates the Doomsekkar status effect. This effect lasts for 50 seconds after the slash and grants the following buffs to you and the players standing near you:

• 1.15x slash strength
• 1.2x Lure Speed
• 1.1x movement speed
• An additional 10% chance for the Doomsekkar mutation
