How to Get Xorcist Rod in Fisch – Ken Carson’s Quest

The Xorcist Rod is one of the newest fishing rods added to Fisch with the Venue Encore update. It is an exclusive reward that you can unlock by completing Ken Carson’s questline in the Underground Music Venue. In this guide, we will tell you how to complete Ken Carson’s quests and unlock the Xorcist Rod in Fisch.

How to Complete Ken Carson’s Questline in Fisch

You can find Ken Carson inside the Underground Music Venue. Before you start, make sure you have unlocked the Underground Music Venue in Fisch. Once you are here, talk to him to start his questline. You need to complete the following four quests in order to unlock the Xorcist Rod.

Underground Static

For the first quest, you need to collect these items for Ken Carson:

• 3 Electric Minnow
• 2 Scrap Metal

For Electric Minnow, you can use the Tempest Rod with Bagel Bait and fish in Roslit Bay waters. The Scrap Metal is a trash item that you can get using any low-stat rod with garbage bait.

Return to Ken, and he will reward you with a ‘*’ Bobber, a ‘*’ title, and a Chaotic Enchanted Relic.

Teen X

Interact with Ken, and he will give you another quest; this time you will have to catch these:

• 1 Shiny Musical Crab
• 3 DJ Spinopus

For the Shiny Musical Crab, you can use a Crab Cage with an Aurora totem in Crystal Cove, and for DJ Spinopus, use the Stellarwave Melody Rod in Crystal Cove. You can also check out our tier list to know the best rods in Fisch.

Catch and return all three to Ken, and he will reward you with an exclusive X Halo.

A Great Chaos

Talk to Ken again and this time he will ask you to complete these tasks:

• Catch 1 Hexed Ancient Megalodon
• Find Ken’s lost Stage Monitor

For Hexed Ancient Megalodon, you can use the No-Life Rod during a Megalodon Hunt in Fisch behind Ancient Isle. It has a 50% chance of getting the Hexed mutation.

The Stage Monitor is right behind where Ken is standing. Completing this quest will reward you with a Stage Monitor Lantern.

Xperiment

Return to Ken again and talk to him to begin the final quest. This quest requires you to catch an Apex fish using the Duskwire Rod in Fisch.

Once done, return to Ken Carson to unlock the Xorcist Rod along with a ‘X’ title.

Xorcist Rod Passive Ability Explained

The Xorcist Rod has a unique mechanic that adds a charge bar above your fishing minigame. As you fish, this bar gradually fills up at every 25% mark. You can press the right mouse button (RMB) when the bar fills to the mark, and the rod will chomp the fish, boosting your progress.

The rod also comes with the new Xperimental mutation that increases the value of the fish by 7x.
