  • Wear magic-resistant armor: Besides her high physical output, Metyr deals a good amount of magic damage. As such, I suggest donning your best magic resistent armor to ensure your HP doesn’t go down to zero instantly.
  • Call a Spirit Ash We all need help sometimes. If you find yourself overhwelmed by Metyr, Mother of Fingers then don’t forget to call your Spirit Ash. Of course, ensure you are gettingthe Revered Spirit Ash to power up your default one for greater damage.
  • Look out for the lasers: Metyr frequently shoots a laser from her fingers all throughout the fight. The good thing is that you can dodge this attack pretty quickly—just side-roll dodge to ignore taking damage from it.
  • Stick to the sides: Most of Metyr’s attacks come from the front. To avoid taking damage and gain on openings, I suggest you attack from the sides rather than the front. Timing your attacks should help you bring Metyr’s health down.
  • Look out of the slam AoE: Metyr occasionally makes an AoE attack, slamming her finger to the ground and blasting energy damage. However, if you roll precisely before it triggers, the damage is negated. Alternatively, there will be gaps in the middle of the blast. So, stand in the gaps and ignore the attack. Another AoE involves Metyr floating in the air, spinning fast, and slamming on the player. So, roll out when that happens.
  • Look out for the wide-area AoE: The final attack to look out for while fighting Metyr in Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is a wide-area AoE damage. Metyr will float in the air while summoning a gravity-based AoE attack around a wide area. The best way to deal with this is to run away from the general AoE vicinity. Alternatively, when the AoE triggers, you can roll just a few seconds earlier to ignore the damage.

If you keep these things in mind, you can beat Metyr, Mother of Fingers quickly without any trouble. To be fair, out of all Elden Ring Erdtree bosses, Metyr is more accessible.
