Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie is almost upon us, and we are excited to see the fight between Hahiras and the Upper Moons. This arc of the popular manga series will feature several, if not all, strong characters from the series. And if you’re wondering which characters, including Hshiras and Demons, will play a crucial role in Infinity Castle, we’ve got you covered. Here is a list of all Demon Slayer Infinity Castle characters we’ll see in the movie.
1. Tanjiro Kamado
Tanjiro Kamado is our main protagonist, who was living a peaceful life as a coal burner until his family was slaughtered by a demon, one day, and his sister, Nezuko, was left behind, infected. On that day, Tanjiro vows to seek revenge from the one responsible for his loss and annihilate every demon from the human world.
He also decides to look for a remedy that can turn his sister back into a human. We have seen Tanjiro engage in some brutal battles against the powerful demons, but nothing matches the intensity of the duel that awaits him in the Infinity Castle. Our beloved demon slayer will be seen fighting the Upper Moons in the upcoming film, and the list starts from Akaza, the Upper Moon 3.
2. Nezuko Kamado
Nezuko is the compassionate sister of Tanjiro, who doesn’t lose her humanity even after transforming into a demon. She doesn’t leave any stone unturned to protect her brother and the good guys throughout the series. Initially, Tanjiro carries her in a box to protect her from the Hashiras and the sun, of course. However, as the story moves forward, Nezuko emerges as the only demon who is immune to the sunlight. That’s also the reason Muzan gets obsessed with her, and the final battle is nothing but an attempt to capture Nezuko. So, in the Infinity Castle arc, Nezuko is kept hidden by the Hashiras for her safety.
3. Zenitsu Agatsuma
Zenitsu Agatsuma is one of the most hilarious Demon Slayer characters. He is the most cowardly demon slayer, who only shows his true potential when he is asleep. His breathing technique makes him one of the toughest players of the series, and his enhanced sense of hearing makes him one of the valuable assets to the demon slayer corps.
That’s because, with his heightened hearing ability, he alerts his peers whenever a demon is nearby. Infinity Castle will not be an emotional ride only for the viewers, but it will also be taxing for Zenitsu as he will have to fight his Dojo brother, Kaigaku.
4. Inosuke Hashibira
Inosuke Hashibira is the demon slayer with the prettiest face, yet he hides it under a boar mask. He has been raised by the boars in the mountains, so he thinks of himself as one of them. He is strong, short-tempered, but when it comes to protecting his friends, Inosuke does whatever it takes without giving it a thought. His Beast Breathing is a self-taught technique that he uses to fight enemies. Also, his enhanced sense of touch gives him the ability to locate enemies by feeling the vibrations in the air. The Infinity Castle gives Inosuke the chance to fight Doma, who he eventually discovers is the one responsible for his mother’s death.
5. Kanao Tsuyuri
Kaneo Tsuyuri was a reserved and underconfident individual before meeting the Kocho sisters and Tanjiro. Her childhood trauma always restricted her from making her own decisions and expressing her desires. However, things changed for her when the Kocho sisters adopted her and gave her wings. She also learned the Flower Breathing Technique by observing Kanae. Like Inosuke, Kaneo fights Doma in the Infinity Castle arc to avenge the deaths of her sisters, Shinobu and Kanae. The determination to defeat the Upper Moon 2 finally helps her overcome the fear of expressing her emotions due to the trauma she carried in her heart since the start.
6. Genya Shinazugawa
Genya Shinazugawa is the youngest brother of Sanemi, the Wind Hashira. He entered the game as the ill-mannered candidate of the Final Selection, who got an opportunity to become a demon slayer after surviving it. Later, when he had to work alongside the kind-hearted Tanjiro and his friends, he slowly became empathetic towards others.
Unlike the other warriors of the series, he doesn’t harbor any breathing technique; instead, he possesses a unique ability to consume the flesh of demons and absorb their powers and abilities temporarily. Genya Shinazugawa’s primary role in Infinity Castle is to help Sanemi and Gyomei Himejima fight Kokushibo, the Upper Moon One.
7. Giyu Tomioka
Giyu Tomioka is seen as one of the unapproachable hashiras of the Demon Slayer Corps due to his cold demeanor. However, deep inside, he is also the most compassionate and the one who has a strong sense of justice. He is also the one who is extra protective towards Tanjiro and Nezuko and wants them to be safe at any cost. He is also the best when it comes to the Water Breathing technique. Infinity Castle arc sees Giyu pushing his limits to fight the powerful demon Akaza and protect Tanjiro from his fatal attacks.
8. Muichiro Tokito
Muichiro Tokito is the Mist Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, who often wears a cold and arrogant attitude. Not many know that it was his post-memory look personality, which was the polar opposite of his true self. Following his brother’s death in childhood, he lost his memories, and since then, he has grown cold and absent-minded.
However, he eventually regains his memories and again becomes the compassionate and fun-loving boy that he used to be. In the Infinity Castle Arc, Nakime’s Blood Demon Art separates Muichiro from the other hashiras and teleports him to Kokushibo’s location, where he has no option but to confront Muzan’s most powerful demon all by himself.
9. Shinobu Kocho
Shinobu Kocho is the Insect Hashira, who isn’t physically powerful, but still, she is no less than her peers. With her knowledge of the poisons, needle-like Katana, and Insect Breathing style, she can get on the nerves of the demons. Despite not getting a chance to single-handedly face Muzan, she contributed heavily to the final battle against the demon kind. Along with Tamayo, she creates a drug, particularly designed to weaken Kibutsuji, that eventually played the greatest role in his downfall.
10. Mitsuri Kanroji
Mitsuri Kanroji is different; while most hashiras motivation to join the Demon Slayer Corps is to avenge the deaths of their loved ones, Mitsuri joined the organization in search of a suitable husband. She is the most bubbly and fun-loving hashira you would meet in Demon Slayer.
However, under her soft exterior is a powerful fighter who boasts an impeccable combat skillset. With her strength, whip-like sword, and ultra-flexible body, she is a tough member of the corps. In the Infinity Castle arc, Mitsuri mainly fights Muzan’s minions so that the other Hashiras can focus on the demon lord.
11. Obanai Iguro
Obanai Iguro, the Serpent Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, harbours a unique snake-style combat skill. He is one of the most merciless hashira, who never fails to berate the fellow demon slayers who don’t stay up to mark when it comes to fighting a foe, particularly a lower-ranked demon. Obanai is one of the hashiras to jump into the Infinity Castle to battle the demon lord Muzan’s evil forces. He also fights Nakime, alongside Mitsuri, and lands some fatal blows on Muzan as well.
12. Sanemi Shinazugawa
Sanemi is the short-tempered and stubborn Wind Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps. His childhood trauma developed a deep hatred for the demons, due to which he also adopted a ruthless exterior. However, he is also one of the Hashiras, who is extremely kind and soft-hearted. He is also a physically strong individual who boasts impeccable combat skills, which eventually allowed him to confront Kokushibo and the demon lord, Muzan, in the Infinity Castle.
13. Gyomei Himejima
Gyomei, or Stone Hashira, has been a mystery in Demon Slayer so far. As of now, we have only seen the character sharing a few dialogues in the anime. However, that’s going to change in Infinity Castle, as we will see the Hashira going against the strongest demon after Muzan. Yes, we’re talking about none other than Kokushibo.
The fight between Stone Hashira and Kokushibo is going to be a spectacle, and after that, Gyomei will move on to fight against Muzan.
14. Tengen Uzui
Yes, don’t be disheartened, as your beloved Sound Hashira will appear in Infinity Castle movies. Of course, Tengen isn’t as strong as he used to be, but he is still strong enough to guide the young blood to go against the strongest demons. Of course, we won’t be seeing Tengen fighting the demons, but he will stay at Butterfly Mansion to protect the one who doesn’t fight this war.
15. Muzan Kibutsuji
It’s sort of expected, but yes, Muzan will play a crucial role in Infinity Castle. After being in the shadows for so long, the demon king has finally come out in the open. He is ready to do anything to get his hands on Nezuko. But before he could gain true immortality, he had to face not one but several Hashiras.
After the Demon Slayer Corps. is done fighting the Upper Moons, they will move their attention towards Muzan. The Demon King surely boasts incredible power, so it will take the efforts of several demon slayers to take down this monster.
16. Kokushibo
Kokushibo is the Upper Moon One, the strongest demon after Muzan. As of now, we haven’t seen much of this character, but from his backstory to his incredible prowess, we will see everything in Infinity Castle.
Kokushibo is the strongest demon among the Upper Moons, so it makes sense for him to fight the strongest demon slayer. Yes, you guessed it right, Kokushibo will face none other than the Stone Hashira, Gyomei Himejima.
17. Doma
Doma is a sadistic individual who has a thing for killing women. He’s incredibly hard to look at, and fans only wish for this character to meet a dark end as soon as possible. Well, get ready to see some of that in Infinity Castle.
Of course, Doma isn’t a weak demon, so he will surely break the hearts of the fandom by taking down some fan-favorite characters, but it will all pay off in the end, and you can put a pin on that.
18. Akaza
We have seen the might of Akaza when he fought Rengoku, but we should brace ourselves to see him fight once again in Infinity Castle. In fact, Akaza vs Tanjiro will be one of the first fights we will see in Infinity Castle.
Apart from seeing Akaza battling his heart out with Tanjiro and the Water Hashira, we will also witness the disturbing backstory of the Akaza in Infinity Castle.
19. Nakime
Nakime is an Upper Moon, and she is probably the most important part of Infinity Castle. Why? Well, that’s because it’s Nakime who created the Infinity Castle using her blood Demon Art. She controls the castle, and she can move anything and everyone in this castle.
Since most of the fight will take place inside Infinity Castle, we will see Nakime manipulating the space in favor of her allies. But in the end, Nakime will also face her own demons (pun intended) like all other Upper Moons.
20. Kaigaku
Kaigaku is the Upper Moon Twelve, the weakest of the Upper Moons, but he’s a Kizuki nonetheless, so killing him won’t be an easy task. More than that, the fight against Kaigaku will be personal for Zenitsu, as they were once dojo brothers.
Kaigaku’s cowardice and betrayal caused the deaths of several innocent people, but fret not, the boy will answer for his crimes when Zenitsu falls on him like lightning in Infinity Castle.
