Deadlock Unreleased Heroes: All Secret Characters You Can Try

Have you also got on the Deadlock train? Are you already addicted to all Deadlock heroes? Well, if you were done playing through the roster, you’re in for a surprise. For those unaware, more options exist in the form of unreleased Deadlock heroes. In this list, we have compiled all the unreleased heroes in Deadlock that might join the official characters list. Learn about these upcoming heroes and their abilities and try the unreleased heroes before they are in your official matchmaking roster right now.

Note: Unreleased heroes in Deadlock are natually not finished. Some hero renders are still in development. Even abilities and what they do are subject to change.

1. Holliday (Astro)

  • Powder Keg: Place a barrel that explodes when shot, or on landing after launched via melee attack or bounce pad. Has a minimum arm time before it can explode.
  • Bounce Pad: Drop a bounce pad that sends you and other heroes flying. You will stomp down on landing, dealing damage to any nearby enemies.
  • Hat Trick: Throws out her hate to strike enemies, slowing and revealing them through walls.
  • Spirit Lasso: Grab an enemy with your lasso and drag them along behind you. The enemy is stunned and Astro is slowed slightly during the lasso. Lasso duration is paused for 2s during the first usage of a bounce pad.

2. Kali

  • Occilioblade: Throw a boomerang that slows enemies and deals damage on the first impact.
  • Pack Hunter: Gain a buff that increases damage and life steal.
  • Dust Storm: Send a dust storm ahead that slows enemy movement and fire rate. Also deals impact damage over time.
  • Trapper’s Delight: Shoot a trap at an enemy and gain a bonus life steal. After a duration, the trap deals heavy damage.

3. Gunslinger

  • Rapid Fire: Shoot infinite bullets for the duration of the ability.
  • Rocket Launcher: Send a devastating blow toward a target location. It sends the target upwards. Enemies take damage upon impact.
  • Tenacity: Passive. Awaiting more information.
  • Sleep Bomb: Applies a sleep effect on enemies in an area.

4. Calico (Nano)

  • Perched Predator: Send a Spirit Cat forward that grabs targets in its way. Grabbing a hero will cause an explosion soon after. Press [1] to manually cause the explosion.
  • Siamese Strike: Leap at a target. Targeting an enemy will cause damage and slow on nearby enemies. Targeting an alley will have reduced cooldown and recharge times.
  • Deadly Decor: Spawn a Statue that life steals from a nearby enemy, giving health to itself and Calico. Statues are activated only when Calico is nearby.
  • Queen of Shadows: Adds a buff. Awaiting more information.

5. Yakuza

  • Shakedown: Channel a gun barrage in the targeted area. Immobilize enemies and deal impact damage.
  • Hired Muscle: Summon gangsters to assist you in fights. Can make a clone of allies or yourself.
  • Protection Racket: Boost yourself to have less recoil and more critical damage.
  • Setting Sun: Cast a sunbeam anywhere in your line of sight. After a brief initiation, the beam deals a massive AOE damage.

6. Tokamak

  • Hot Shot: Use a flamethrower to burn down enemies. Damage increases when heat power is maxed out.
  • Dying Star: Pounce onto a location and deal AOE damage.
  • Blinding Radiance: Get a boost that reduces cooldown, evades bullets, and increases damage.
  • Pulse Cannon: Charge and lock onto enemy heroes, fire to deal damage to all locked enemies.

7. Wrecker

  • Wrecking Ball: Create a large ball of scrap that can be thrown, damaging and stunning anything it hits. The ball takes time to create and you move slower while carrying it.
  • Consume: Stuns an enemy trooper or NPC, damaging them while held. A successful kill provides a fire rate bonus and restores a Bio Blast charge. This bonus stacks independently.
  • Bio Blast: Shoots out a blast of consumed remains, damaging and slowing enemies. Multiple hits increase the slow.
  • Astral Walk: Launch a flying shadow copy of yourself that you control, teleporting your original body to wherever it lands. The teleport explosion slows enemies and deals damage based on how long you are flying.

8. Rutger

  • Rocket Launcher: Send a devastating blow toward a target location. It sends the target upwards. Enemies take damage upon impact.
  • Force Field: Create a kinetic field that traps enemies inside it. Enemies outside cannot go past this field.
  • Cheat Death: Passive ability that activates before you are about to die. Gain additional life steal when it is active.
  • Pulse: Send a pulse of energy that slows enemies and deals massive damage.

9. Thumper

  • Shatter Cannon: Knock enemies back and deal devastating damage.
  • Spike Strip: Create a barbed wire field that slows down enemies in it and deals cheap damage over time.
  • Badger Drone: Throw a badger at a target enemy that deals damage and reveals its location. Enemies affected by badgers will be seen behind the walls as well.
  • Vortex: Create a vortex in the desired area that pulls enemy heroes nearby and immobilizes them.

10. Slork

  • Riptide: Send a tide forward that knocks up enemies and deals damage on impact.
  • Chomp: Latch onto an enemy hero and keep dealing damage. Slork also steals HP from the chomped enemy.
  • Deep’s Embrace: Create a wrap of bubbles and absorb damage. Once over, return a burst of damage to nearby enemies.
  • Ambush Predator: Gain movement speed and fade away from enemy vision. Slork also gains additional HP regen while invisible, based on max health.

11. Cadence

  • Anthem: Increase your ammo size and fire rate. Also heals allies within a radius of the ability.
  • Silence Contraptions: Teleport forward, stunning enemies for a brief duration and dealing damage.
  • Lullaby: Regen health for allies nearby. While singing, Cadence makes the enemy heroes fall asleep who are nearby.
  • Crescendo: Sing for a brief duration and once the song ends deal heavy damage while applying a debuff. The debuff makes enemies take more bullet damage.

12. Bomber

  • Charged Bomb: Charges forward after blasting a bomb. Awaiting more information.
  • We do not have much information on Bomber yet. We will update this when we have more information.
