Call of Duty Black Ops 7 will release with a sizable roster of maps, ranging from brand-new arenas to a selection of remastered classics. The upcoming title takes Call of Duty to 2035 and builds on the foundations set up by BO2. Activision are aiming for a ‘near-future’ aesthetic with B07, with maps set in locations such as Alaska, Japan, Angola, and more. The devs have already revealed the full selection of maps that will be available at launch. So, here’s the full list of maps coming to Black Ops 7.
All Black Ops 7 Maps at Launch
Black Ops 7 will launch with 16 6v6 maps, and two 20v20 Skirmish maps set within sections of Avalon. Here’s every 6v6 map you can look forward to:
- The Forge
- Toshin
- Exposure
- Cortez
- Scar
- Den
- Homestead
- Colossus
- Imprint
- Dry Dock
- Retrieval
- Paranoia
- Black Heart
- Express
- Raid
- Hijacked
And now, here are the two 20v20 Skirmish maps, which is an objective-focused experience where two teams clash across expansive environments.
- Mission Edge
- Mission Tide
As mentioned earlier, both Skirmish maps take place in Avalon, which, according to leaks, was previously created with Warzone in mind. Nevertheless, Skirmish pairs its larger-scale with a deployable wingsuit, allowing players to soar across the terrain and adding a dose of verticality to the gameplay experience.
Squads will have the option to capture a zone, then launch across the map to contest the next objective, creating fast, fluid, and sometimes unpredictable momentum from objective to objective, where no two matches feel the same.
We’ll hear more about the new game mode and all the vehicles players can utilize in the coming weeks.
All Remastered Maps in Black Ops 7
Black Ops 7 packs in three remastered maps, all from Black Ops 2. The launch selection includes Hijacked, Raid, and Express, which is sure to please fans. All three maps have been reimagined, complete with a visual overhaul, with Raid now taking place in scenic, near-future Japan. According to leaks from reputed sources, more remastered maps are planned for future content updates. And we’ll likely see them arrive as part of post-release seasons.
