Boruto vs Jura in Boruto Two Blue Vortex
Jura has had his eyes set only on Boruto ever since he teleported to Sunagakure, the Hidden Sand Village. With the ultimate threat arriving, Boruto’s only option is to stall Jura until his friends can escape safely with the two Thorn Soul Bulbs they obtained after successfully defeating the Human God Trees, Ryu and Matsuri.
After getting his sensei Konohomaru out of the way, the battle between Boruto and Jura officially commences with the former sneakily striking the latter with a Rasengan. However, Jura remains unfazed and states that he will enjoy his fight against a strong opponent like Boruto.
The leader of the God Trees even appreciates the rogue ninja after being impressed by his Flying Raijin technique.

In that moment, it seems like Boruto is holding his ground well against the powerful Jura. But Koji and Eida, who were watching the battle from a long distance, commented that Boruto doesn’t stand a chance against Jura, and this battle may be the end of the road for him.
He can’t teleport back to a safe hideout, they mention, as it’s incredibly challenging to pull off that move in an ongoing battle. At the same time, he cannot leave his friends to face Jura, which would result in their deaths, and Jura collecting the Thorn Soul Bulbs.
Jura makes it clear that his mission is to kill Boruto, as he knows more about the divine trees than one should. Our protagonist knows he is in a disadvantageous position, and his only trump card against the monster is Rasengan: Uzuhiko, the most powerful technique in his arsenal.
Boruto successfully baits Jura to get his sword and uses it to teleport behind him. With a massive opening at hand, Boruto doesn’t waste the chance and immediately uses Rasengan: Uzuhiko and hits Jura before he can react. Same as Boruto, we expect Jura to be in a distorted state, unable to stand up, similar to Code.
However, Jura countered Boruto’s ultimate move by nullifying the Uzuhiko as Rasengan was created with the tailed-beast bombs as a reference to everyone’s surprise. Boruto is left in a helpless state as Jura comes out unscathed from his signature Rasengan.
None of his teammates, including Sarada and Mitsuki, or his sensei Konohomaru, can save Boruto from Jura. As everyone’s predicting, all that’s left for Boruto is to hand over his body to Momoshiki, similar to how Yuji did with Sukuna in a dire situation like this.
Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 22 sets the stage for Momoshiki’s return in the manga. With that said, share your predictions for the next chapter in the comments below.
