Best Light Cones for Yunli in Honkai Star Rail (Ranked)

Yunli, the upcoming 5-star Destruction character, is releasing in Honkai Star Rail 2.4, and her kit is counterattack-focused. She is a tank and DPS at the same time, with majority of her damage output coming from counterattacks after taking damage. Yunli best build can include a variety of good Light Cone options, but you still might be wondering which one is the best for her kit. 6. Nowhere to Run

Nowhere to Run is a solid Light Cone for Attack scaling Destruction characters. This Light Cone straight up increases the Attack of the wearer by 24% at S1, and after the wearer defeats an enemy, it restores their HP equal to 12% of their Attack. Although Yunli already has self-healing capabilities in her kit, this Light Cone will further help her stay alive.

This Light Cone is available in Nameless Honor, so players who subscribe every season can easily get it to S5, which gives a 48% Attack increase to the wearer, and 24% of the Attack restored as HP after defeating an enemy.

5. Under the Blue Sky

Under the Blue Sky is another great Light Cone option for Yunli, as it increases both her Attack and Crit Rate. This Light Cone gives a 16% attack increase, and additionally increases the Crit rate of the wearer by 12% for 3 turns after defeating an enemy, at S1. The 12% Crit Rate increase is very effective if you cannot reach a 100% Crit Rate with Yunli’s Relic stats.

At S5, this Light Cone increases the Attack of the wearer by 32% and Crit Rate by 24%, for the above-mentioned conditions, making it a very strong option for Yunli.

4. A Secret Vow

A Secret Vow is one of the best Light Cones for Yunli, and for many Destruction DPS units, as it straight up increases 20% damage output, while also increasing damage by an additional 20% towards enemies with equal or more Max HP percentage than the wearer.

As Yunli will be often getting hit by enemies, she will likely have a lower HP than her enemies. At Superimposition 5, damage dealt increases by 40%, and an additional increase to damage dealt towards enemies with equal or more HP percentage by another 40%.

3. Something Irreplaceable

Clara’s Signature Light Cone — Something Irreplaceable, is also one of the best Light Cone options for Yunli. Both Clara and Yunli’s kits are very similar and this makes her Light Cone quite useful for Yunli, if you already have it. This Light Cone increases the wearer’s Attack by 24% unconditionally.

Furthermore, when the wearer defeats an enemy or is hit by an enemy attack, they restore HP equal to 8% of their Attack, and their Attack is also increased by another 24% at the same time until the end of their next turn. This effect makes both Yunli’s and Clara’s counterattacks extremely strong.

2. On the Fall of an Aeon

On the Fall of an Aeon is the best free-to-play Light Cone option for Yunli, and also her best Light Cone alternative. On the Fall of an Aeon has remained one of the best Light Cone option for Attack scaling Destruction characters. This Light Cone increases the attack of the wearer by 8% for each time they attack (max 4 stacks) and further increases the wearer’s damage output by 12% when the wearer breaks the weakness of an enemy.

At superimposition 5, the Light Cone increases the attack by 16% for each attack (max 4 stacks), and damage dealt by another 24%, which is almost the same amount of damage as her Signature Light Cone, but without the increased Aggro.

1. Dance at Sunset

Yunli’s Signature Light Cone — Dance at Sunset, is the best Light Cone for her and it should be prioritized over E1. This Light Cone greatly increases the wearer’s Aggro, making it perfect for Yunli who excels at counterattacks and also lacks native Aggro-increasing abilities other than her Ultimate (limited to one attack). This Light Cone further increases Crit Damage by 36% and additionally increases Follow-up Attack damage by 36% (max 2 stacks) after using their Ultimate.
