The Seal
Located on the eastern border of Fort Lyndon, The Seal is a decommissioned missile silo, with green-painted blast doors sitting at the very center. Surrounding the launch area are a number of smaller structures, each containing at least one loot chest inside. Due to its proximity to the fiery NXC circle, you’re unlikely to find any enemy resistance in this area. This makes it a great landing spot during the early game, especially if you simply want to get kitted up and complete a few early Contracts.
Boutique District
The Boutique District sits right near Downtown, and it looks like one of your idyllic LA boulevards with pastel shops on either side. Of course, the district has seen better days since most of the structures in the area have lost their lustre, to say the least.
Nevertheless, the sheer number of accessible buildings means that the area is ripe with excellent loot. The zone has an element of verticality as well, with multi-storied buildings that you can use to gain an edge over nearby enemies. Once you’re done looting the Boutique District, you can venture towards Downtown and take a stab at leveling one of its skyscrapers.
Golf Course
We’re now in hot drop territory, and among the early fan-favorites is the Golf Course. Just like the name suggests, the POI features a patch of green with Caddys parked nearby, and a lavish Country Club at the center. Inside, you’ll find snazzy interiors and plenty of high-tier loot crates. Squads land in volume at this location, so keep your head on a swivel at all times.
Chemical Storage
Situated right at the heart of Fort Lydon is Chemical Storage. If you’re looking for instant combat and rare loot, then this facility is comparable to Tilted Towers or Superstore. The POI is basically a cluster of destructible structures, each with at least two loot chests sitting inside. Combat encounters come hard and fast here, so you’ll have to be ready for action at all times. That said, landing at Chemical Storage is a pretty great way to kick off a match.
