15 Best Game Deals in the Steam Autumn Sale

Nothing puts a large smile on my face like the yearly Steam sales. With the much-touted Summer sales out of our way, we are finally at the second major sale by Valve. And with it comes discounts on hundreds of games, ranging from the Dead Space Remake to God of War. We have picked 15 of our favorite game deals from the ongoing Steam Autumn sale. So, look no further for new titles to add to your library on the new OLED Steam Deck or your PC.

Red Dead Redemption 2

Red Dead Redemption 2 Steam Sales

Our first pick on this list is Red Dead Redemption 2, which is praised and well-loved among gamers. It is an action-adventure open-world game, where you play as Arthur Morgan, a Van der Linde gang member, during the final years of the wild-west.

RDR 2 has an emotional story, a breathtaking world, and immersive gameplay features. This is the lowest this game has been discounted to in Steam sales, so don’t miss out on this deal.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon

Many were apprehensive when RGG Studios announced that their popular beat-em-up series Like a Dragon, aka Yakuza, would become a turn-based RPG. However, Yakuza: Like a Dragon makes the turn-based mechanics welcoming for newcomers to the genre.

It follows Kasuga Ichiban, as he tries to find answers after his closest compatriot betrays him. It’s weird, wacky, and fun. The current Steam sale discount is the lowest the game has ever gone. With Like a Dragon: Gaiden available and Like a Dragon 8: Inifinte around the horizon, consider giving this a try.

Buy on Steam ($59.99 $11.99, 80% discount)

Dead Space Remake

Many questioned why Dead Space got itself a remake after its announcement. However, post-launch, those concerns turned to glee as Dead Space revitalized the series. The game puts you in the shoes of Issac Clarke, venturing the mysterious USS Ishimura to find his girlfriend, while the ship is overrun by murderous Necromorphs.

Buy on Steam ($59.99 $29.99, 50% discount)

Tales of Arise

Tales of Arise is an action RPG and the latest entry in the long-running Japanese RPG series Tales. It puts you in the shoes of two protagonists in a divided world, Dahna and Renan. You explore the world for items, adventure, and fight off enemies in probably the most anime-inspired visuals. If you love fast-paced RPGs that look cool, pick up Tales of Arise.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2

Arguably one of the most well-beloved sports games in past generations, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 and 2 Remaster gives the game a much-needed uplift for the modern generation. It retains the fun skateboarding experience while introducing HD visuals and textures.

Furthermore, you can play local 2-player co-op, create custom parks and skaters, and participate in online leaderboards and multiplayer. Even if you don’t enjoy skateboarding, hear my words and try this game out.

Buy on Steam ($39.99 $15.99, 60% discount)

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition

No Steam sales list is complete without the inclusion of Skyrim. Skyrim has been Bethesda Studios’ cash cow for years, and justifiably so. The game puts you in the shoes of the Dragonborn as you maneuver the world of Skyrim amidst a brewing civil war and the advent of ancient dragons.

The game has a large open world and hundreds of quests to complete. And thanks to its passionate modding community, you have a steady flow of content.

Buy on Steam ($39.99 $7.99, 80% discount)

Prey

A criminally underrated sci-fi thriller, Prey puts you in the shoes of Morgan Yu, a scientist trapped in a moon research base called Talos 1. You try to escape the base with your life intact, as mysterious alien life-forms called Typhon roam the space station. Prey allows you to approach a challenge in your own way by concocting unique methods.

Buy on Steam ($29.99 $2.99, 90% discount)

Detention

Detention is a 2D side-scrolling horror thriller where you play as a student trapped in a Taiwanese school during heavy rainfall. With the school overrun by supernatural entities, you must find a way to escape the nightmare while slowly unraveling the story behind the mystery.

Its oriental horror-inspired art style sets it apart, making it a must-play if you enjoy horror titles. Giving out any other detail is a disservice to the title, so we suggest going in completely blind.

Buy on Steam ($11.99 $3.59, 70% discount)

Spider-Man Remastered

One of the best superhero games in recent years, Spider-Man 2 (review) introduced a brand-new story set in the popular friendly neighborhood’s universe. But there’s still some time for the sequel to find its way to your PCs.

In the time being, we suggest you get the first title in the series, Spider-Man Remastered. Featuring a beautiful rendition of NYC, a fluid combat system, and a fun traversal mechanic, Spider-Man is a must-play for anyone who wants to feel like a true superhero. This remastered version introduces visual improvements like Ray Tracing and a new character model for Peter.

Buy on Steam ($59.99 $35.99, 40% discount)

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy

Another criminally underrated title on this list, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, is a single-player action-adventure game featuring the popular superhero group of the same name. It’s developed by Eidos, also known for Deus Ex, and features an engaging original storyline and fluid gameplay. Furthermore, the soundtrack is a banger, featuring numerous rock-n-roll oldies.

Buy on Steam ($59.99 $14.99, 75% discount)

Pizza Tower

One of the trail-blazing indie titles of this generation, Pizza Tower, is a definite pick if you want a challenging and fun experience. Developed by the aptly named Tour De Pizza, it puts you in control of Peppino, a pizza chef forced to venture and explore the mysterious Pizza Tower. Jump, parry, and comb through the structure to ensure Peppino’s pizzeria isn’t destroyed.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection

The most valuable video game package available on Steam, the Master Chief collection bundles together the most essential Master Chief storyline across Halo. It features six games, providing over 30 hours worth of stories. Outside of that, you have multiplayer for each title, adding to many more hours of Halo goodness. It is a must-pick during this Steam sale season.

Buy on Steam ($39.99 $9.99, 75% discount)

God of War

God of War (2018) is a soft reboot of the long-running franchise of a similar name by Sony Santa Monica. It features the ancient Greek god of war, Kratos, and his son Atreus, as they journey to the top of the Jotunheim to scatter the ashes of Atreus’s mother.

The game has arguably one of the greatest storylines in single-player games and features a fun hack-n-slash combat system.

Buy on Steam ($49.99 $29.99, 40% discount)

The Forest

The Forest is a survival horror game where you and your son crash land into an island of jungle inhabited by mutants and cannibals. You build structures and protection and ensure your survival while trying to find your missing son.

It features a reactive AI that changes behavior based on your performance and co-op multiplayer. This is the perfect game if you want something to play with your friends.

Buy The Forest ($19.99 $4.99, 30% discount)

Amnesia: The Bunker

One of the surprising launches more people should talk about is Amnesia: The Bunker. The fourth entry in the popular horror game puts you in the shoes of a WW1 soldier trapped in a bunker. With limited resources around you and stalked by a monstrous oddity, you find your way out of this death trap.

Bunker’s atmosphere and environmental storytelling are top-notch, and the point-to-point decision-making turned it into one of my favorites from 2023. If you want a bone-chilling experience, try this title.

Buy on Steam ($24.99 $17.49, 30% discount)

And these are our favorite picks from the ongoing Steam Autumn sale (Black Friday sale). While we have only chosen fifteen titles, there are a lot more worth checking out before the sale ends at 10:00 AM PST on November 28. And that is where you people come in.
