Arc Raiders Outpost Guide: How to Unlock, Research, and Upgrade

Arc Raiders Frozen Trail update added many things, but the most notable thing among them was the Outpost. This is a new area in the game where players can set up their base. What is the Outpost in Arc Raiders?

Outpost in Arc Raiders is a customizable area for players. It can be personalized by adding new furniture, which can be crafted using in-game materials. However, what players often miss is that the Outpost is not just a normal base. Setting up the Outpost unlocks the Research Station. This Research Station allows players to unlock any Blueprint in the game.

How to Unlock the Outpost in Arc Raiders

To unlock the Outpost in Arc Raiders, players must complete three quests. These quests are:

• Research Topside Living Conditions
• Gather Building Materials Quest
• Safeguard the Building Site

How to Complete the Topside Living Conditions Quest

This quest is fairly easy. All you have to do is get a camera in Arc Raiders first from Celeste and take it with you into the Blue Gate map. Open the map and locate the Ruined Homestead location near Ancient Fort in the southern part of Blue Gate. After that, look for any farmland house and take a photo of it using the Camera.

Now, extract from the map and open the Outposts tab in the main menu. Click on the Complete option to complete the first quest.

Gather Building Materials Quest

This quest is fairly straightforward. To complete this quest, players have to gather and submit the following materials:

• 3 Planks
• 5 Sheet Metal
• 10 Arc Alloy
• 3 Advanced Electrical Components

The Planks and Sheet Metal are new items, and you can obtain them anywhere on the map. However, the easiest way to get them is by buying them from Celeste using seeds.

Safeguard the Building Site

For this quest, players have to deal damage to flying ARC enemies and the new arc Bully. Here is how much damage you need to do to either enemy:

• Flying Arcs: 800
• Bully: 300

To do this quest, you can either go to the Arc Raiders Pendola Pass map and fight both the flying enemies and bullies there. Otherwise, you can head to Spaceport to complete the flying arc part of the quest fairly easily.
