Arc Raiders Frigate Guide: How to Prepare, Board, and Complete the Puzzle

Arc Raiders Frozen Trail update has completely changed the game. It has added so much new content, but the highlight of the update is the Frigate map condition. Completing the Frigate map condition is extremely challenging. But if you are determined to complete it, here is a full Arc Raiders Frigate guide for you.

Arc Raiders Frigate Map Condition Explained

Frigate is the new Arc Raiders map condition released with the Frozen Trail update. You don’t need to play the Pendola Pass map to get this map condition, as it happens on all Arc Raiders maps. This map condition adds a massive flying arc to the game that shoots down anything below. Players must board this Frigate and sabotage it to get all the loot. During this map condition, here are the conditions applied to the map:

• No active locked doors
• Decreased amount of overall loot value
• No active Raider Hatches
• No Free Loadout

One thing unique about the Arc Raiders Frigate map condition is that players cannot take a free loadout to play it. This is likely to prevent players from camping other raiders, as the Arc Frigate event requires a ton of resources to complete.

How to Prepare for Frigate in Arc Raiders

Arc Raiders Frigate map condition is extremely hard, and players will need to be properly equipped to even get close to completing it. Here is how you need to prepare for the Arc Raiders Frigate challenge:

First, players will need one Heavy Ammo weapon, along with one Energy Ammo or Launcher Ammo weapon. This is because players will need to fight a ton of Arcs and break the Power Cores inside the Frigate, which requires a ton of Arc penetration damage. This is the ideal setup you can prepare to take on the Frigate in Arc Raiders:

• 1x Bettina (or any other heavy weapon)
• 1x Hullcracker or 1x Jupiter
• 1x Looting MK3 Survivor (for the additional slots)
• 1x Medium Shield
• 2 Stacks of Herbal Bandages
• 1 Stack of Vita Shot or 1 Stack of Sterilized Bandage
• 3 Stacks of Shield Recharger (two small and one medium)
• 2x Wolf Packs or 2 stacks of Trigger Nade
• 3x Barriers
• 2x Defibrillator
• 1x Snaphook
• Heavy and Launcher/Energy Ammo (fill all the remaining slots)

Now, you can obviously change your setup based on your lobby type. If you get highly PvP lobbies, getting a better PvP weapon might be better, along with some mines. However, this setup should be enough to take down the Frigate without anyone spoiling your plans. Also, make sure to use the best Arc Raiders skill tree build for further advantage.

Arc Raiders Frigate Puzzle Guide

The Frigate puzzle is quite simple, but the threat of PvP players and the massive number of flying arcs, along with Hydras, makes it an incredibly hard challenge. But if you have prepared as mentioned above, you should be able to complete the puzzle by following the steps below.

How to Board the Frigate in Arc Raiders

To complete the Arc Raiders Frigate guide, you will first need to board it. To board the Frigate, you will need to board the Arc Reclaimers. These are small arcs that keep coming down from the Frigate and going back up. Track them when they reach the ground and climb them.

You will see the option to disrupt them now. Do it, and it will take you straight up to the Frigate. Now comes the hard part: sabotaging the Frigate by breaking the Power Cores.

All Frigate Power Cores Locations

Once you have boarded the Frigate, you will have to break all the Power Cores on it. This can be done by you or your team alone, or others can also help you out. Here are all the Power Core locations on the Frigate that you need to break:

Power Core Location 1:

• After boarding, go inside until you reach a place with a button showing ‘Move Up’. Skip this for now and continue on your way to the other end and circle to the other side.
• Here you will find the first Power Core. Shoot it down.

Power Core Location 2:

• Now, head back to the button area. Here you can either use Snap Hook to get up directly, or two players have to push the buttons on either side to lift one player.
• Once that player is up, they can interact with the button there to move the other players up.
• Players have to then go in and interact with the three buttons there to lift up the main coil.

Power Core Location 3:

• Before opening up the main coil, players can find two power coils above.
• Simply look up to find them on either side.

Power Core Location 4:

• Once you have broken the main power core and the ones above, along with defeating all the arcs, you will need to get to the top of the Frigate.
• You can either snap-hook from the side of the main coil to the ledge above, or break the yellow buttons on the wall to bring down walls for climbing.
• Above, you will have to breach the wall containers to expose the Power Core inside.

Power Core Location 5:

• Continue up to the very top of the Frigate and break the Power Cores there.
• Make sure to set up barriers here to hide from arcs.

Power Core Location 6:

• Finally, you will be able to enter the Frigate. Inside, keep breaking yellow buttons to open doors and look for all the Power Cores.
• They will always be inside locked rooms, so they will be easy to find.
• Break all the Power Cores inside to reach the Cargo at the very bottom.

Drop Cargo and Leave Frigate in Arc Raiders

Finally, you will reach the Cargo. There, you will have to interact with the four sides, where you will have to breach the containers first. Next, there will be two interactable buttons on both sides of the cargo. Press it together repeatedly to keep dropping the cargo. When the cargo completely drops, jump on it and leave the Frigate with it.

Once you reach the ground, you can loot the Cargo easily, and it will have some of the best loot you can find during the map condition.

All Arc Raiders Frigate Rewards

There are many lootable things in the Frigate, especially if you keep opening the containers along the way without waiting for the final cargo. All of these have generic industrial and mechanical materials, but the main items you can get from them are:

• Amplification Modules
• Research items

Amplification Modules are needed to modify your weapons, and Research items can be used to obtain research points in the Arc Raiders Outpost. Other than these, the Frigate holds many epic and legendary rewards, but we haven’t seen many blueprints or guns drop yet.
