Seal

Seals are the first new creature you will likely find upon reaching Deep North. They are found at the outskirts of the new biome, mostly around the ocean coast. Seals are weak to fire damage, and they drop Seal Pelt and Seal Blubber on defeat. You will need Seal Pelt for crafting various Valheim weapons in the game.
Elaking
Elaking are another highly important creature in the Valheim 1.0 patch, as they drop Mould: Intricate Key. You will need this item to craft an Intricate Key in Valheim. This monster mostly roams around at night and can be found inside Winding Tunnels. It takes increased Fire damage and also drops Elakin Hair Bundle, which is one of the core Valheim materials.
Moose
Moose is the new tamable animal in Valheim, and it can be ridden in the game. Taming this creature is quite difficult, as it deals insanely serious damage. It is weak to fire damage, and on defeat it drops Moose Meat, Moose Hide, and Moose Sinew. These items are required for crafting Spirit Caller in the game.
Shapeless Pulp
Shapeless Pulps are slimy creatures that can be found in Mörkhalla in the Deep North. This monster is immune to Poison and drops BlobMarkmini, Dead Pulp, Tiny Pulp, and Pulp Trophy on death. This enemy is fairly easy to defeat and won’t be much of a challenge.
Eyeless One
Eyeless Ones can be found inside the Winding Tunnels, along with Elaking, but they are much more dangerous. They hide underground and wait for their opportunity to exit and deal very serious damage around it. This enemy drops Long Claws, which are required to craft fist weapons in the game.
Barka
Barka are giant treelike creatures that are frozen in ice. It deals very serious damage and are weak to Fire damage. This enemy always drops Frozen Branch, which is one of the most essential items in Valheim. You will find this enemy in the overworld.
Gammeltroll
Gammeltroll are massive frost trolls that will hunt you in the open world. However, unlike other trolls, you will need to defeat these to get Bloodgold in Valheim. That’s one of the core items for building any weapon in the game.
Hexen
Hexen is one of the new mage monsters in Valheim, and they deal an insanely high amount of damage. I recommend turning off camera shake against it, as otherwise every attack will rock your screen. This enemy can be found in the Mörkhalla, but once you visit one, they will start appearing in the overworld as well.
Krigen
Krigen is the other terrifying creature found in the Mörkhalla. It is a melee creature and has a very serious damage output. Defeating this monster has a chance of dropping the Vanguard armor set’s mould. This is one of the best armor sets in Valheim, so you should definitely start farming these enemies.
