Eikthyr is the very first boss you will fight in Valheim, and it will unlock the first pickaxe you can make in the game. This boss is in the shape of a giant deer and can attack with powerful lightning abilities.

Eikthyr can be found in Meadows, and you can find its Forsaken Alter location by finding the glowing runestone next to the Sacrificial Stone. Players will need two Deer Trophies to summon Eikthyr, so hunt deer until you have them to summon the boss.

Players will get 3 Hard Antlers, Eikthyr Power, and the Eikthyr trophy for defeating it. The Hard Antlers can be used to create the first pickaxe, which will allow players to mine the copper veins and Tin deposits in the Black Forest.

The Elder is a tree-shaped monster and the second boss of Valheim. It can be found in the Black Forest and requires three Ancient seeds to summon. Players can find its location runestone by visiting burial chambers in the Black Forest.

This boss uses ranged attacks. However, being a tree, it is vulnerable to fire damage. So, fire arrows are the best way to defeat it in the game. Defeating The Elder will give players the Swamp Key, The Elder Trophy, and The Elder Power.

Use the Swamp Key to access the Sunken Crypts of the Swamp area, where players can find Iron.

Bonemass

Bonemass is a massive slime monster that can be found in the Swamp biome. It is one of the hardest-to-defeat Valheim bosses, largely due to the poison application. Players will need poison resistance to defeat it comfortably in Valheim.

The location runestone for Bonemass can be found inside Sunken Crypts. Once you have found the location, you will have to use 10 Withered Bones to summon it.

Defeating the Bonemass will give players the Bonemass Trophy, Wishbone, and the Bonemass Power. Wishbone will allow players to find secrets after equipping it.

Moder

Moder is a majestic dragon that can be found in the Mountain biome of Valheim. It is an incredibly hard Valheim boss to defeat, largely due to its nature of flying away. You will absolutely need a bow to defeat this boss, as it will barely touch the ground for you to deal melee damage.

Players can find Moder by visiting ruined structures in the Mountains. This is where they can find its location runestone. Once that’s done, players will have to use three dragon eggs to summon the boss.

Defeating Moder will get players a Dragon Tear, the Moder Trophy, and the Moder Power.

Yagluth

Yagluth is the Goblin King and one of the most terrifying bosses in Valheim. It can be found in Plains and is considered the fifth boss of the game. Players can find its location by visiting the Stonehenge structures, where they will find its location runestone.

Once the location is found, players will need to place five Fuling Totems to summon it. Beware, this boss is incredibly hard to defeat, so be properly equipped before fighting it in the game.

Defeating Yagluth will get players the Yagluth Trophy, Torn Spirit, and Yagluth Power.

By defeating The Queen, players can obtain the Majestic Carapace, The Queen Trophy, and The Queen’s Power.
