Computex 2019 is underway in Taiwan, and Asus just announced the brand new ZenBook Pro Duo at the event. The laptop comes with a 15.6-inch 4K OLED display along with a secondary 14-inch full-width touch screen above the keyboard for added functionality.
Asus is calling this secondary display ‘ScreenPad Plus’ and the ZenBook Pro Duo is the world’s first laptop to feature it. The ScreenPad Plus interacts seamlessly with the 4K display on the laptop and should be a boon for creative professionals.
ZenBook Pro Duo Specifications
In terms of the hardware, Asus has packed the ZenBook Pro Duo with top-of-the-line hardware across the board. For processing you can get up to the Intel Core i9 on the ZenBook Pro Duo. Graphics are handled by the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU, and it comes with support for WiFi 6 — the latest iteration of the standard.

ZenBook Pro Duo Displays
The display here is gorgeous too, and not only because it’s a 4K panel, but Asus has opted for an OLED display on the ZenBook Pro Duo, with a contrast ratio of 100,000:1 and support for 100% DCI-P3 color gamut for breathtaking color reproduction, and display quality.
However, what’s special about the ZenBook Pro Duo is the ScreenPad Plus secondary display, which, according to Asus can either be used as a secondary display to show any content, or users can use the ScreenXpert control software to make use of the built-in features and functions on the ScreenPad Plus.
ZenBook Pro Duo Pricing and Availability
The ZenBook Pro Duo is expected to be available starting Q3 this year, but Asus has not announced pricing details for the laptop, or which markets it will be made available in at launch. Other than the 15.6-inch ZenBook Pro Duo, there’s also a smaller, 14-inch variant of the laptop that comes with a 12.6-inch ScreenPad Plus secondary display, along with a Full HD display, Intel Core i7 processors, and Nvidia’s MX250 GPU.
