The prices of NVMe storage have toppled over the years. You can get a fairly decent, high-speed high-storage SSD at a low price, but no matter how low the prices go, the frugal soul inside you will always hope for an even lower one. If you want to buy an NVMe SSD, then you are in luck, as one of the best SSDs just hit its lowest price since launch. The early Black Friday deal on the WD Black SN770 is the one you cannot miss.
The 2TB variant of the WD Black SN770 PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD is now available for $179 $119, which is its all-time low price. The 1TB variant is available for $99 $75 whereas the 500GB costs $84 $44.
But, Why Buy the WD Black SN770 Now?
You’d be hard-pressed to find a 2TB NVMe SSD for $119. Besides, it has read/write speeds of 5150/4860 MB/s and has an endurance rating of 1200 TBW. While it’s not the fastest out there and lacks DRAM, it does use Host Memory Buffer tech to match the performance of SSDs with DRAM.
While you can use it on the PlayStation 5, you’d have to spend on a heatsink and that’s where the Seagate Firecuda 530R for $244 $139 and other best PlayStation 5 SSDs come to the rescue. It does make up for a great NVMe storage drive for PCs, though.
