No, Oz’s mother, Francis, is not yet dead in the television show. Sofia tries to make Oz go insane by making him believe that she is dead. However, Oz is relieved soon after discovering the truth. We have no clue if Sofia will not harm Francis in the upcoming episode as she is a merciless woman who doesn’t even think twice about killing her entire family by poisoning them.
Salvatore Maroni Dies in The Penguin Episode 7
After Sofia kidnaps Francis, Oz is also taken into custody by Salvatore as he seeks revenge on the man who killed his wife and son. Salvatore initially beats the crap out of him, but eventually, it was Oz who used his brains and turned the tables. He asks Oz to return the consignment of The Bliss to him and Sofia; otherwise, they would do the unthinkable to Francis. Hearing this, Oz acts as if he is all set to surrender, but when he takes them to the tunnels from where he operates, his men help him get the upper hand on the enemy.
While Sal’s men get occupied handling Oz’s army, the latter starts beating the former. He also starts mocking Sal, saying, ‘I beat you, I won.’ However, he doesn’t realize that Sal has died due to a heart attack, and he couldn’t land a final blow on him.
Oz Survives Sofia’s Attack
Sofia craves to see Oz Cobb suffer, so she decides to finish the game by killing him. She chooses a path of pure destruction instead of the ongoing cat-and-mouse game. Sofia explodes Oz’s base of operations along with his men. However, Oz and Vic manage to survive the deadly attack. Moreover, Francis also survives, and now it would be intriguing to see how Oz tackles Sofia and saves his mother.
