Who Is Isaac Dixon in The Last of Us?
Isaac, the ruthless leader of WLF, worked under FEDRA’s rule several years after the outbreak. He is a significant member of the organization because he was there from the very beginning. Isaac was there when WLF used to see Emma and Jason Patterson as the leaders, and he was eventually appointed as the head by the other members after the deaths of the leading pair. Isaac was a marine personnel before the spread of the brain infection, so he didn’t struggle much to overthrow FEDRA and make WLF, aka Wolves, the ruling organization of Seattle.
When the majority of the supply lines were blocked by the horde of infected, Isaac decided to relocate to the SoundView Stadium along with every other survivor. He also instructed the Wolves to either kill or restrict the surviving FEDRA members from entering the new QZ. With the support of the very civilians, he succeeded in making the stadium a safe town that never faced any power or food shortages.
Despite being a protective leader of the Wolves, he remained heartless to the outsiders, particularly the Seraphites. He saw the Scars as the biggest challenge he had to overcome to take control of the entire city. So, he never missed an opportunity to threaten and torture the Scars by taking them as captives in the abandoned hotel that he transformed into WLF’s interrogation facility.
Isaac also tried to use Abby to fulfill his agenda. The girl was filled with rage after Joel killed her father, and when she joined the Wolves, Isaac trained her, and soon, she became his best “Scar killer” soldier. However, after crossing paths with Yara and Lev, two seraphite kids, and getting to know them, Abby had a change of heart. That’s when Abby defied Isaac for the first time and got in his bad books.
