Malcolm Lee is the main protagonist of Terminator Zero, whose mission is to stop Skynet from taking over humanity. He lost his wife in an unfortunate accident, so he lives with his three children in Tokyo. However, being a workaholic dad, he often fails to give time to his kids. Lee has been hired by Cortex Industries, where he must develop an AI named Kokoro, who would fight the antagonistic system of Skynet.

Terminator Zero sees Andre Holland as the English voice of the character, while Yuuya Uchida is the one to be his Japanese version. Holland has worked in several films, including Moonlight, and TV shows like Netflix’s The Eddy.

2. Eiko

Eiko is a potent resistance fighter who time travels from 2022 to 1997 to stop the Terminator from killing Lee. Throughout the series, she protects Lee’s kids from the robot assassin who wants to use them against the scientist. Nothing about her origin was revealed in the show, but in the end, we learned that she was Malcolm Lee’s mother.

Remember House of the Dragon’s Mysaria? The actress who portrayed the character, i.e. Sonoya Mizuno has lent her voice to the English version of Eiko. Toa Yukinari has lent her voice to the character’s Japanese version.

3. Misaki

Misaki is the first AI Malcolm Lee created in the 2040s. She also becomes the reason why Malcolm has to leave his mother and loved ones and travel back in time to start a new life. After Lee erases her memories, she starts living as a housekeeper at the scientist’s residence.

Unlike the other Terminator, she protects Malcolm Lee’s kids from her own kind until she reaches her full limit and beyond. The character was voiced by Ghost of Tsushima fame, Sumalee Montano, in English, and she gets the voice of Saori Hayami in Japanese dub.

4. Kokoro

Kokoro is an AI; Malcolm works day and night so that she can help humanity and fight Skynet. However, unlike other AIs, Kokoro has a free will that allows her to make her own decisions. Witnessing the concluding events of Terminator Zero, where she helped Kenta make the right decision, it seems Malcolm succeeds in his motives.

Ahsoka star Rosario Dawson is Kokoro’s English voice, and Atsumi Tanezaki is the AI’s Japanese voice.

5. The Terminator

The Terminator arrived in 1997 to kill Malcolm Lee and stop the creation of Kokoro. It was nothing other than a killing machine that only had a sole purpose to fulfill. However, in the end, it also shocked us by revealing that the oldest son of the scientist was the one to send him back in time for this mission.

Timothy Olyphant lent his voice to the Terminator for the English dub, and Yasuhiro Mamiya became its Japanese voice. Olyphant appeared in Justified, Crazies, and many other TV shows and films.

Alongside the aforementioned primary characters in the Terminator Zero anime, some supporting characters play an equally pivotal role in the anime. Below, we have listed these characters and their voice actors:
