#Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Goblu has three different damage attack patterns which are Jump, Crush, and Combo. Other than that, he also has the Flower Grow and Absorb attack that gives him shields. It is weak to the Lightning Element and resistant to Ice element. Also, Goblu has no weak points. Chromatic Lancelier has three different attack patterns — Attack, Slow Attack, and Quick Attack. Only his 'Attack' has a two-hit combo while all the other attacks have one-hits only. It is weak to the Ice Element and its weak point is located on his head, marked with blue flame. To defeat the Chromatic Lancelier in the early game, you must perfect your parries and dodges and use the Overcharge ability of Gustave at max charge to deal a ton of damage.

Parrying, dodging, and jumping are fundamental mechanics in Clair Obscur Expedition 33's combat. To parry and dodge, use the parry or dodge key right before the enemy is about to hit you. Follow the audio cue of the attack to time it perfectly. To jump dodge, wait for the golden sign to appear on the screen and then jump to evade the attack.

There are three Festival Tokens in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 and Gustave starts with one of them after entering the Festival. The other two Festival Tokens can be obtained by completing the side objectives of Antoine and Maelle. You can use the Festival Tokens to obtain a new haircut for Gustave and two quest items for later in the game.

Weapons can be upgraded by the Curator in the Camp in Clair Obscur Expedition 33. The Curator is unlocked after progressing Act 1 to the point of finding Maelle in the mansion. Upgrading weapons cost Chroma Crystals, which can be obtained in the overworld, from defeating enemies, by completing quests, or can be purchased from merchants. 

You can respec characters in Clair Obscur Expedition 33 using the Recoat item. Open the Attributes or Skill menu for the character you want to respec and use Recoat to reset the points. Recoat can be obtained by defeating specific enemies, collected in the overworld, or purchased from gestral merchants.

Pictos boosts attributes for equipped characters and also provides a special perk. This special perk can be separately unlocked by winning four fights with the Pictos equipped and is called a Luminas. You can equip Luminas on any character without needing to equip the Pictos as long as you have the required Luminas points.
