Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro in India last month, but in typical Xiaomi fashion, the device has so far been available through the dreaded flash sales model. That changes now. Xiaomi has announced that the Redmi Note 6 Pro will now be available via open sale starting December 12th.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro will be up for grabs from Flipkart and Xiaomi’s Mi.com store via open sale starting 12:00 noon on December 12, 2018. The quad-camera Xiaomi smartphone is priced at Rs. 13,999 for the base 4GB+64GB variant, while the 6GB+64GB version carries a price tag of Rs. 15,999.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro sports a 6.26-inch display with a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels. Xiaomi has decided to include a notch to add more screen real-estate. It has an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 86%. The phone is powered by the 14nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, coupled with an Adreno 509 GPU. It will be offered in two configurations i.e. 4GB RAM/ 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM/ 64GB internal storage.
There’s a dual camera setup on both the front as well as the rear side of the device. At the back, there’s a 12-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with Dual Pixel autofocus. Moving on to the front, the device packs a 20-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with AI face unlock capabilities.
