Realme has just launched the Realme 2 Pro in India at a starting price of Rs. 13,990 and it seems like a pretty capable smartphone, be it from the teardrop notch featuring display, the Snapdragon 660, or the cameras. So, it’s obviously not a downgrade like the Realme 2 and Realme has touted the cameras on the Realme 2 Pro to be one of the best in this price range. The Realme 2 Pro comes with a 16MP f/1.7 + 2MP dual camera setup and a 16MP f/2.0 front camera.
Realme 2 Pro Camera Samples
So, before we bring you our final Realme 2 Pro review, take a look at some of the camera samples taken from the Realme 2 Pro:
-
Artificial Light and Day Time Shots
Here are some shots taken from the Realme 2 Pro in good lighting and artificial indoor lighting and as you can see from the camera samples below, the Realme 2 Pro does pretty well. I mean, the colors are nice and details are also fairly good, but ya, some photos do seem overexposed, so there’s that.
-
Low Light Shots
Now, here are some photos taken in low light from the Realme 2 Pro and as you can see, thanks to the wider f/1.7 aperture, the Realme 2 Pro manages to capture very bright photos.
-
Portrait Shots
Thanks the dual camera setup, with the secondary 16MP camera sensor working only as the depth sensor, the Realme 2 Pro manages to capture some detailed and bright portrait mode shots. Sometimes the colors do look unnatural but overall, it seems like a decent phone for portrait mode photos.
-
Selfies
Lastly, check out the selfies taken from the 16MP f/2.0 shooter on the front. It’s obviously an AI powered portrait mode and so, the edge detection is finicky but overall, I like these photos when compared to the competition.
Our Realme 2 Pro review is arriving shortly, so stay tuned for our final verdict on the Realme 2 cameras.
