Phantom Blade Zero ‘The Gold-Masked One’ Locations — Where to Find Donnie Yen?

Phantom Blade Zero has many outstanding bosses, but none is even close to the intensity and cinematic fight showcased in the Long Pillar battles. The Phantom Blade Zero Long Pillar bosses feature the Gold-Masked One boss. This boss is none other than Donny Yen himself, and defeating him is required to complete the Bloodline Awakening quest. Here are all Phantom Blade Zero ‘The Gold-Masked One’ locations, so that you know where to find Donnie Yen in the game.

All Phantom Blade Zero ‘The Gold-Masked One’ Locations

Out of all the Phantom Blade Zero bosses, ‘The Gold-Masked One’ is my favorite by far. Donnie Yen does an outstanding job of roleplaying this boss, and you get to fight him in five different locations. Make sure to get the best Phantom Blade Zero weapons and Phantom Edges before you meet ‘The Gold-Masked One’ for the first time.

Weeping Creek Valley

The Weeping Creek Valley has the first Long Pillar location. Players will find the Phantom Blade Zero ‘The Gold-Masked One’ boss in the easternmost area. To get there, players have to first defeat The Hunt boss and acquire his Phantom Edge. Then, using it, players need to obtain the Sha-Chi Tower Base Camp gate key.

Next, players will have to enter the region behind the Sha-Chi Tower Base Camp gate and look for the first Crane Bell. They will find the Rusted Loong Key in the Crane Bell. Take it to head to the location given above on the map and you will find your first Phantom Blade Zero Long Pillar.

Crimson Forest

The next location of the ‘The Gold-Masked One’ is in Crimson Desert. Players will have to take the main path from the Iron Fever boss fight until they reach the split with a Memory Flower. Go right and use the Hunter’s Chain Sickle to grapple across. Here you will find the second Long Pillar of Phantom Blade Zero.

Meigu Lake

Meigu Lake has two of the ‘Gold-Masked One’ boss encounters. The first one can be found on Meigu Lake Island at the easternmost side. Use a boat to travel to the extreme right side of the region. Use the Hunter’s Chain Sickle here to continue going ahead until you see the third pillar.

The fourth Long Pillar can be found inside the Phantom Illusionist Ruins. Players will need to find all the Acolyte Masks and interact with the mirror there to get inside the Phantom Illusionist Ruins. You will need to use the Dread Axe Phantom edge to find the boss.

Pangzhen

Finally, players can enter the Mirage Estate through the Green Serpent House to the Covered Corridor Bell location. From there, go forward and take right until you look down. Now, grapple yourself to the boss area.
