Connections Answer for December 17
Are you still stuck with the puzzle? In that case, the answers to today’s Connections are:
- RESERVE FOR LATER – Bank, Save, Stash, Store
- BOLDNESS, FIGURATIVELY – Gall, Guts, Nerve, Stones
- USED TO BUILD A SNOWMAN – Carrot, Coal, Snow, Sticks

I am no stranger to bravery, or so I will tell you. However, I have enough courage or at least a thesaurus to figure out exactly what the words in the Green category stood for. This is why I got it the first.
I then moved to the Yellow category. While I had words like Bank, Save, and Store in the bank (pun, of course), I connected Stash due to my knowledge of heist movies. Since it is Christmas, the Blue category came extremely easily to me. I mean, Carrot and Snow are definitely a nose for a snowman.
There were only four words left, so I connected them all, got the Purple category, and also the NYT Connections puzzle for December 17.
