HMD Global is all set to launch the new Nokia 6.1 Plus here in India today. The launch event is being held in New Delhi, India, and it will begin at 12 PM (IST).

Nokia is planning to live stream the event, so, all the Nokia fans can catch the live action. Nokia 6.1: Key Specs

The Nokia 6.1 features a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080×1920p) IPS LCD display, packed inside a solid aluminium body that’ll remind you of the nostalgic Nokia days. It is powered by the Snapdragon 630 SoC, coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of storage.

As for the optics, you’ve got a 16MP rear-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash and an 8MP fixed-focus camera on the front. It is also part of Google’s Android One program and runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box but Android P support (currently being tested on Nokia 7 plus) is expected to roll out soon enough.

You also get usual connectivity options on Nokia 6.1 including 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port. To sum it all up, here’s a quick look at the core specifications of the device:

Nokia has not hinted at the price of the phone, but in our understanding it would be priced at under Rs 20,000, and bring the competition to the new Mi A2.
