New Tomb Raider Game Leaks
While the official statements do not reveal much, an X post by user V Scooper revealed some information regarding the new Tomb Raider game. According to the user:
- The next Tomb Raider will be a “fully open world”
- The game will be set in India
- “Featuring vast sceneries, free use of the motorcycle, parachute, and common Lara’s traversal methods to unrestrictedly navigate across a big map and its challenges”
- the game is “supposed to release in less than a year if there are no delays, but this is totally not locked”
- A natural disaster strikes northern India revealing ancient emperor Ashoka’s ruins and artifacts. Lara strategically races against a Society of Raiders and other rivals for these powerful relics.
- The Society of Raiders is inspired by Lara yet unaffiliated and might have some opposite agendas. This also relates to a new feature based on recruiting teams and allies to strategically aid you in missions and defeating rivals. There’s an emphasis on a new non-lethal combat option.
