In the world of My Hero Academia, a well-established system that calculates many aspects (such as might, contribution, popularity, etc) of all the heroes to unveil the official rankings of the Pro Heroes. Throughout the MHA series, we have seen some of our favorite heroes reigning at the top, and the hero billboard chart is ever-changing. Now that the My Hero Academia series has ended, we finally know the finalized list of hero rankings. Without any further ado, here are the top 10 hero rankings at the end of the MHA series.
Spoiler Warning: This article contains spoilers about the Japanese Pro Hero billboard rankings at the end of MHA. Proceed with caution.
Initially, Horikoshi unveiled the hero rankings in the chapter 430 first and then made changes to the top 5 positions in the final one-shot Chapter 431.5. So, we have adjusted the rank accordingly to list out the top 10 hero rankings after timeskip.
10. Laundry Hero: Wash

- Hero’s Original Name: Susugu Mitarai
- Quirk: Clean Bubbler
Susugu Mitarai, aka Laundry Hero: Wash, is an exemplary hero who proved that one could reach the top even with a trivial quirk. With just the ability to create soapy water and bubbles, Wash climbed all the way up to number 8 in billboard chart and maintained his position for a long time. However, once Deku and Bakugo started to make their way up, Wash fell two ranks below and is currently ranked in 10th place.
9. Wonder Hero: Nejire Chan
- Hero’s Original Name: Nejire Hado
- Quirk: Wave Motion
Nejire Hado was one of the Big 3 candidates from U.A. High School who had promising potential to become great heroes in the future. As predicted, Nejire-san flourished to become the 7th-ranking Pro Hero after the timeskip.
But she has currently moved back to the 9th position as her juniors, Deku and Bakugo, climbed up the rankings quickly in recent times. Nejire’s spiral shockwaves are one of the versatile powers in the series. While Nejire struggled to control it at first, she got the hang of it now, as evident when she worked her way upto the top 10 at the end of MHA.
8. Rabbit Hero: Mirko
- Hero’s Original Name: Rumi Usagiyama
- Quirk: Rabbit
Hands down, Rabbit Hero: Mirko is one of the best-written female characters in My Hero Academia. With her Rabbit quirk and an athletic body, Mirko was knocking everyone out of the park and significantly helped during the Final War. Even after losing an arm, she continued her heroic work with a prosthetic replacement.
She used to be in the number 5 position on the hero billboard previously. But she dropped a place and was in 6th position after the timeskip. When Deku and Bakugo made their way up, she further descended below to number 8, currently in the story.
7. Fiber Hero: Best Jeanist
- Hero’s Original Name: Tsunagu Hakamada
- Quirk: Fiber Master
Bakugo was mentored by the best, Best Jeanist, who remains one of the top 10 heroes in My Hero Academia. His quirk, Fiber Master, allowed him to draw out strings from his clothes and utilize them in action. He was initially introduced as the no.4 hero, then he progressed up to the no.3 position after All Might retired.
Then, Best Jeanist was revealed to hold the no.5 position after the eight-year time skip period. But now his protégé Bakugo and his rival Deku’s uprising has pushed him down to number 7 in hero rankings at the end of the series.
6. Arbor Hero: Kamui Woods
- Hero’s Original Name: Shinji Nishiya
- Quirk: Arbor
Kamui Woods was one of the very first heroes we met at the beginning of the MHA series. He used to be in the 7th position at that time. As the hero’s name gives away, he has wood-related powers in the series. Kamui also played a solid part in the final war, and years later, he surged up to the no.4 rank along with his girlfriend, Mt. Lady.
However, that didn’t last long as he slipped down the rankings to the 6th position after Deku and Bakugo fought their way up the ranks. We don’t know if he will be reunited with his love again in the top 5 position in the future.
5. Bombshell Hero: Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight
- Hero’s Original Name: Katsuki Bakugo
- Quirk: Explosion
We always knew that Katsuki Bakugo was destined for greatness if he could let go of his harsh demeanor. It happened as we predicted, and Bakugo shonen played a crucial role in the final war, holding off against Tomura and later exploding AFO to ashes. He came back from death and couldn’t even use his quirk like before after the final war.
Despite all that, Bakugo went on to reach the no.4 position during his Pro Hero debut. But he tumbled down to the no. 15 position later on. All that Bakugo ever needed was his rival back on hero duty once again. So, when Deku became a hero again with his new suit (gifted by Bakugo and classmates), their rivalry reignited Bakugo’s spirit, and he is currently the number 5 Pro Hero in My Hero Academia.
4. One For All Hero: Deku
- Hero’s Original Name: Izuku Midoriya
- Quirk: One For All (previously), Quirkless (currently)
There is no doubt that Deku is the greatest hero of the modern era. He followed the footsteps of his idol and saved the world from the ultimate evil. However, Deku had to sacrifice to save humanity, and his future of becoming the number 1 hero on the hero billboard was shattered before he could even start his Pro Career.
Fortunately, Deku was gifted a special armored suit, which allowed him to become a Pro Hero. After getting his suit, Deku grew in popularity as the One For All Hero: Deku. Soon, Deku skyrocketed up in ranks to reach the 4th position in the hero ranking billboard after a very short period. We have no doubts that Deku will soon reach the no. 1 spot, and we hope to see it someday in an extended chapter.
3. Peak Hero: Mt. Lady
- Hero’s Original Name: Yu Takeyama
- Quirk: Gigantification
Mt. Lady was also one of the first heroes we got to meet in MHA, along with her partner, Kamui Woods. At first, it seemed as if Yu was in the hero business for only money and fame. But with time, Mt. Lady grew up to become one of the best heroes of her generation. Mt. Lady also significantly helped turn the tide of the final war with her giant strength.
Believe it or not, Mt. Lady was in 23rd position at the start of the series. Over time, she rapidly rose up the ranks all the way up to the no.3 ranking at the end of MHA. Thus, Mount Lady is easily one of the best female characters in the My Hero Academia series.
2. A.C. Hero: Shoto
- Hero’s Original Name: Shoto Todoroki
- Quirk: Half Cold Half Hot
Shoto Todoroki was bestowed with both the cold and hot powers as one quirk. He had the best of both worlds, yet he was held back by his troubled past. As if being Endeavor’s son wasn’t enough, his father would also keep pressuring him to become the number 1 hero. After enduring hardships for so long, Shoto began to change after meeting Deku, and he was on the right path to becoming a better hero.
He was the important character who put an end to his elder brother, Dabi’s monstrosity, in the final war. After everything was sorted in his family, Shoto was able to focus peacefully on his career, and he reached the number 2 spot in Hero Billboard rankings at the end of MHA.
1. Comedy Hero: Lemillion
- Hero’s Original Name: Mirio Togata
- Quirk: Permeation
The ultimate hero who sits at the top in the number 1 position in hero rankings at the end of My Hero Academia is none other than Mirio Togata. Lemillion is also the epitome of what it means to be a hero, just like Izuku Midoriya in the MHA series. Horikoshi could even make a spin-off with Lemillion as the protagonist, which is how extremely popular he is within the MHA fandom.
After his graduation, Lemillion started as a Pro Hero and immediately ascended to the top as the number 1 hero in Japan. He thoroughly deserved this spot for spreading smiles, saving lives, and making the world a better place. However, his junior, Deku, is catching up to him and soon may be dethroned by him in the future.
And that’s a wrap to our list of the final hero rankings in MHA. That is how things stand for now, and we don’t know whether Horikoshi will make further changes to these rankings in the future as he did recently. That said, are you satisfied with the current top 10 Pro Hero rankings? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
